If you haven’t read the Shadow and Bone trilogy nor watched the series on Netflix, you will be lost in this book. I know I was.

Chapters one and two were enough for me. Too many names, and "types" of people, and places that were baffling, especially considering they weren’t explained.

A heist novel set in a fantastical Golden age version of Amsterdam? Lots to get engaged with here, characters have dimensions, the greater world has depth and history, and the action is fun to follow and try to guess what Kaz will pull from his sleeves next.

Pianto lacrime amare dopo aver finito Six of Crows. Uno dei libri più belli che io abbia mai letto, i personaggi sono caratterizzati benissimo e si riesce a empatizzare in qualche modo con tutti

I am adding this, because I am waiting for Six of Crows like it`s going to save the world and I am going ABSOLUTELY INSANE around here.

*my heart screams* I WANT SEPTEMBER!!!

*my brain retorts* No, but school will come!

*my heart again* WHO CARES? School will come inevitably, and Six of Crows will be a mindfuck!

*brain* When you`re right, you ARE right, heart!

Meanwhile: I`m just going to memorise these two chapters by heart and stalk Leigh Bardugo`s Twitter. LIKE EVERY NORMAL PERSON!

I love the imagery that Leigh Bardugo creates in her stories. From the artwork to the characters to the atmosphere, she draws you into this world filled of dreams and nightmares. I cannot wait to read the whole book of Six of Crows.

Yep, I reread this wonderful book and reading it a second time I loved it even more! There were things that I had forgotten about and it was like I was reading this book for the first time!

Honestly I wish goodreads would count the fact that you reread a book!

entertaining but not sure enough to make me keep on with the trilogy when they come out, but it all depends what else I am into at the time.

To say it’s awesome is an understatement for this book! Its breath-taking and griping and keeps you constantly on your toes! A must read. Definitely surpassed my expectations! I love Kaz and his wit and grit, Jesper and his humor, Inej and her intensity, Nina and her passion and Matthias and his faith. Love the characters
