And Boom!
That is how you write a archaeological thriller that has you on the edge of your seat and you don't have a scooby doo about how it's going to end.

I love that Sean, Tommy, and Adriana are all back together again in this pulse-pounding and adrenaline captivating series.

A secret that had been lost for several hundreds of years, a bookseller that never wanted to give up but caused him his life.

His daughter is now wanting the answers to her fathrts life long work.

Can the IAA team help with the untold truth regarding the cover-up between the Catholic Church and the Ottoman Empire?

Secrets long buried and stolen truths. A vault that holds all the secrets but can be opened by a select few.

Can the team and with the help from trusted friends help uncover the truth before it's too late?

The mirror that holds everything in it's truth should be feared.

Another brilliantly written fast-pasted adventure by Ernest Dempsey.

The best in the Sean Wyatt series!

I began reading the Sean Wyatt series thirteen years ago and this 25th book, The Medici Agenda, blew me away. Each new book as felt like I got the pleasure of hanging out and having great adventures with old friends, but The Medici Agenda was more than hanging out and having great adventures with old friends. This book was more like going on nonstop thrill rides that involved puzzles and not just any old puzzles. These puzzles were introductions to problem solving, and history.

The descriptions Mr. Dempsey used throughout this book made me feel like I could reach out and touch the locations in each new scene. However, there is one scene where I could swear my hand slid smoothly across limestone surfaces and touched a variety of ancient documents.

I can’t wait for the next offering in the Sean Wyatt series to see where Mr Dempsey takes me, and what adventures he has in store.

I found this story to be absolutely incredible. I couldn’t believe how many “brainiacs” were involved. This story is the first one that defines Tommy’s brilliance more than I’ve ever read in prior books. The detailed work Adrianna does was described much more intricately than in any of her solo books. Sean, as always, is the brilliant muscle securing the area so that the others can safely do their work. These stories usually are more “ bang bang shoot ‘em up.’” This one not so much – much more appeal to intellect than thriller fans. I am a tremendous fan of Sherlock Holmes and, yes, even Columbo. The way they are able to look at what’s there, take it apart, and put it back together in the right order in order to resolve the matter at hand. This author needs to keep up the good work, I enjoyed how he changed his perspective with regard to these characters.

The Medici Agenda - a review by Rosemary Kenny.

Called in - and helped - by Elena, (the daughter of a murdered antiquities  expert) the IAA team, Sean, Adriana and Tommy, follow a Medici 'treasure' trail across Europe to Istanbul and back. They're pursued by Massimo Conti's right-hand woman, Giulia, who in turn has her own agenda.
The whole adventure takes place over just eleven days, yet because there's so much action, drama and intensity packed into every chapter, you'll be drawn  deeper and deeper into it. Murder, intrigue, secrets, betrayal and a 'treasure' hunt like no other will get your detective juices flowing.

The Medici Agenda

Another excellent Sean Wyatt story plotline wise…. however, the writing style for this book was so different with all of the pensive pauses made by the characters that the reading became almost cumbersome at times. I almost feel like Ernest Dempsey did not write this book because the tone is so different from previous books. Again, I enjoyed the story, just not all of the emotional asides.

An Amazing Read

Ernest is getting better and better at urging his readers to think about what is being "said " between and among his characters. They become real and the reader becomes part of the conversation.
Thank you Ernest Dempsey!
