The second-chance romance, found family, and cowboy charm made this such an easy read to settle into.
Storm and Silas still had so much chemistry after all those years, and I liked how naturally their connection came back. There was something really satisfying about seeing feelings that never completely went away finally get another chance.
Silas was probably my favorite part. He didn’t rush Storm and instead showed her through his actions that he was serious about being there for her. His bond with Max was especially sweet, and I loved watching him become protective of both of them. I also liked that his growth wasn’t only about rebuilding things with Storm, but also repairing his relationships with his family and moving past the idea that he was the black sheep.
The cozy setting of Blue River Springs added to the small-town feel and made this world fun to step into.
Between the chemistry, family moments, emotional growth, and steam, this was a really enjoyable romance and a lovely introduction to the series.

The blue river springs books has become my favorite. I recommend this book and series.

Saddle Storm is a heartwarming second chance romance featuring a single mom with found family.
Storm is a fierce single mom to sweet Max. She is working at the ranch with the horses. Silas is the younger Thorne brother and a NHL hockey player. He suffers an injury and has to stay put for a few weeks, so goes back home to rest. Once he arrives he realizes that His Girl Storm is back at the ranch and he wants to make everything to her talk to him.
They both have so much chemistry and connection. She has always been it for him even after years she is still it for him. I love how he takes his times and makes sure she knows he will be there. I love how he also tries to makes a connection with Max knowing this is the way to her. Him and Max together was just perfect. I love how Silas becomes very protective right away of both of them. I also enjoyed how the story is not only a repair of his relationship with Stern but also with his siblings and father. Him repairing his self image of the black sheep.
This was the third book on the Blue River Springs, I have read the two previous books and It was fun to have cameos of the previous characters throughout this book.

Saddle Storm by Roxanne Tully is a fun, steamy small-town cowboy romance with plenty of chemistry, emotion, and country charm. I really enjoyed the Blue River Springs setting and the close-knit community that made the story feel warm and inviting. The romance is definitely the star of the show. The main characters had great chemistry, and their push-and-pull kept me turning the pages. I also enjoyed seeing their vulnerabilities come through as they worked through their feelings and personal struggles. And yes, there’s plenty of spice to keep things interesting! As the third book in the Blue River Springs series, this story had that wonderful interconnected-series feel, with familiar faces and a strong sense of community. It can be enjoyed as a romance on its own, but fans of the series will especially appreciate returning to Blue River Springs. Overall, Saddle Storm was an enjoyable choice for readers looking for a spicy small-town cowboy romance with chemistry, emotional moments, and a feel-good romantic atmosphere.

This book was perfection! I wasn't sure if i would like these two as a couple, I wasn't overly keen on how Silas came across. I should have known better, usually there's a reason someone is the way they are!
Silas is back home recovering from a should injury, hoping to get back on the ice ASAP. Storm has a complicated history with Silas, she can't trust that he won't just disappear again, she's not willing to get hurt again; especially with her secrets on the line.
I normally don't enjoy second chance, or friends to lovers, but I really enjoyed how Storm and Silas' relationship progressed, and how Silas developed. I loved Max! Definitely my favourite of the series so far!
