I don't feel as though this is an accurate guide to chainsaw use or tree felling.

Read "To fell a tree instead".

Dangerous

Just about every technique discussed in this book is wrong and dangerous. It should be removed from Amazon. Please take no notice of what this person says.

This was a very informative and helpful guide. Modern Lumberjack takes you step by step through the modern and safe handling skills of saw and other beginner equipment. The basic forms of safety are talked about also an array of knot tying skills, which allows for even safer logging. This all brings the reader his/her basic knowledge of logging and how to perform in a safe and effective way.

"I'm a lumberjack and I'm okay, I sleep all night and ...
