Ember Emberton’s family estate has stood on the Virginia hills since her ancestors laid the first stones in 1785. Ember tends the gardens, tends the greenhouse, and enjoys the quiet routines that make sense of her orderly world. Protected by stone walls, family, and familiar boundaries, she has no desire for change. Then the rumble of construction reaches over her garden wall.
Tyler Knox, a warm-hearted custom furniture maker, buys the quiet acreage next door and begins building a future of his own. As an unexpected friendship blossoms into something deeper, Tyler becomes part of the carefully cultivated life Ember has always cherished. But love asks her to consider a future she never planned.
Ember must decide whether stepping beyond the comfort of her garden walls means losing the life she loves or discovering an even greater blessing waiting beyond.
Filled with small-town charm, gentle humor, faith, family, and sweet romance, Beyond Ember’s Garden is a heartwarming story about love, growth, and discovering that God’s plans are often bigger than the boundaries we create for ourselves.

I have been a fan of Lisa Buffaloe's books since I read "Prodigal Nights" back in 2012! Each new release is like a surprise gift that I can't wait to open. This one was no different. Well, no different in the excitement in opening it up. But the story itself was different. You still had love, romance, personal challenges to overcome, and the unmistakable presence and guidance of our heavenly Father. But there seemed to be something deeper and more settled in Ember and Tyler's story. It's like Lisa's writing is growing and maturing and is more certain of itself. I can't really describe it the way I want. But what I can say is this story was exceptional and I wholeheartedly recommend it!
