This is my review for this whole series.
I greatly enjoyed this series. They're short books and I've found that often with short books around 100 pages or under, the writing isn't always very good. This is not the case with this series.
It's been a while since I've read this genre, romance but not dark or mafia like I usually do just good old fashioned romance and honestly it's reminded me that I need to read more of this genre because I always enjoy them.
This won't be my last series by these authors I already found an old series I owned several books from and I'll be starting that tonight.

DELICIOUSLY CUTE AND SERIOUSLY SEXY !!!

Wow! We have lift off!!! I began reading Ellie Danes work a few months ago and I was so impressed with her talent that I began devouring everything she has published. So, needless to say when I discovered she had partnered with Katie Kyler for an exciting new serialized collaboration, The Edge Series, I could hardly wait to snag the first book , Edge of Attraction. And folks, these two authors are a dynamic duo who do not disappoint. Their unique writing styles complement each other brilliantly. The book is written in the first person with dual alternating points of view from the two primary characters, his and hers by chapter designations. I find this to be my favorite reading preference because it seems to give additional depth and perspective to the characters and makes it so much easier to connect to the story and the people. I really enjoy never having to guess what's going through their minds and how they both feel. The story is modern, fresh, fast paced, well executed, well edited, sweet and romantic. The dialogue is smart, exceptionally well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are always the main attraction for me in any book and the authors have done an outstanding job of crafting the players in this story. They are captivating, engaging, endearing, very relatable and sexy. Danes and Kyler have expertly combined these elements into a fascinating and entertaining romance. These two very talented authors have given us a beguilingly seductive Cinderella story we can all easily identify as our own secret dream to find a handsome Prince Charming who will sweep us off our feet, see past our outer facade, recognize our inner beauty and whisk us away to a perfect life. And in this case, Cinderella is none other than unappreciated, unremarkable and unnoticed thirty two year old Allison Mahoney, hardworking employee extraordinaire of Tolbert and Tolbert also know as Scintilla, the newest and hottest matchmaking website on the market. Allison has dedicated the last three years of her life to her job and her handsome boss, Joshua Tolbert. Joshua is the CEO of Tolbert and Tolbert and the genius behind the creation of the wildly popular Scintilla. No matter what she does or how hard she tries, it seems she can't get the smexy Joshua to notice her. Heck, he can't even get her name right. He had even called her Abby when she presented him with a birthday gift. Why would he remember her? He's wealthy, gorgeous, charismatic and dates supermodels for heaven's sake. Despite the connection that Allison and Joshua made while on their blind date he did recognize her at work, even after having a face to face conversation in his office. It's hard to believe that he has not put 2 and 2 together. Allison must really looks different with make up on. On to book 3

'Edge of Lust' is yet another really great book by Ellie Danes (partnering with Katie Kyler on this series). Allison works for Joshua, the CEO of a high end dating service website. Allison has been crushing on Joshua since she began working for the company, unfortunately, she is invisible to Joshua who can't even remember her name. Allison is tired of being single and decides to sign up for the company's service (he also decides to try out his own company's services) and ends up being a perfect match to Joshua (the company does not use real names for anonymity ) and they meet for dinner. She knows immediately who he is but he doesn't recognize her. At the end of the date they are both feeling that it was a perfect date.........will he recognize her at work on Monday and will they have more dates??? That remains to be seen.

I'm a huge Ellie Danes fan so when she teamed up with Katie Kyler I was incredibly excited to see what the two of them would come up with.
Edge of Lust is book 2 in The Edge Series and I'm so addicted to this series. I really love the storyline and where Katie and Ellie are taking it. Allison and Joshua have this amazing chemistry that just leaps off the page as you read it! This book is full of so much emotion and drama that your head will be spinning as you read it. After things start to look up for Allison the storyline takes a terrible twist and it changes dramatically. I'm not going to spoil it for you but it's one you don't want to miss!
This is one story you definitely want to add to your TBR List and download right away!

One step forward and two steps back
Book two shows that old habits are often hard to break. Despite the connection that Allison and Joshua are able to make while in the midst of their blind date, it is questionable as to if they will find their way together in their everyday life. If Joshua continues to let his interest only be reeled in by pretty packages and if Allison persists in remaining insecure and timid will they ever find a future in each other? Onward to part three to find out.

Slower moving than the first book, but still a great book....she has a way about her writing to write things that are believable---how he can not see what is right there in front of him.
Once again, the ending (like most books end now) stops at a place where you think no.....you are stop saying you can't end it there...but that is just a sign of a good writer.....they leave you wanting more and more we want....... so I will patiently wait for the next installment.

I can't even call this book a romance! The main characters go on a blind date and there's no chemistry. Like absolutely none. Use of a magnifying glass or microscope won't help me find any!! Dude doesn't even recognize her in real life. Why on why was this Allison person made out to be so pathetic? I couldn't even feel sorry for hger because she was in a bed she made herself. I hope she grows a spine in the books to come. And can I get a little romance while we're at it?

This was very light and not much happened in this installment. I think it will pick up now....I hope. I really like Joshua and I feel for Allison. I can't understand how he can't recognize her or is he just not looking!
