Seriously a cliffhanger!!!!
Pierce is an insecure man. He kept blaming Sylvie for their marriage being over when he’s the one who kept running to Jaslyn because he needed attention. If Jaslyn didn’t really mean anything to him, he would have continued to have fought for his family and not given up, but because Sylvie didn’t come running to take him back right away he went back to Jaslyn so Sylvie was done.
If Pierce wanted his son’s forgiveness then he should have laid his cards out for his son and told him he was wrong he made the biggest mistake of his life and then ask for forgiveness, but he remains in denial.
Jaslyn not telling Pierce about Eric or whatever he wants to call himself was just stupid to me. That’s why parents need to let the children know of their mistakes so they don’t repeat it.
This book was good, but you definitely need a proof reader.

Blues/Drama/Mess
This was a whole lot. Cycles repeating, regret, fighting, jealousy, hypocritical comments and behavior and dare I say, Karma. Through it all I was able to keep up and I enjoyed the story. But I was not prepared for that ending! Bring on book two, Shanika!
