For the first time ever, all three of Cynthia Hickey's crazy female sleuths are brought together at a convention in Vegas. They hit it off strong enough to form a club - The Whodunnit Gals. What follows is a rollicking good time as the gals catch a killer in drag.

A pure delight to read. This short story is only 28 pages long and astounding well-written. Within these few pages you get a good description of the main character and her new friend who barge into sharing her room in Las Vegas hotel. You really feel like you know them. The three make a new club and solve a murder at a Mystery Convention without doing anything drastic. A pure fun fantastic read!.
Fun short story about a woman who somehow gets involved in solving mysteries wherever she goes, so she started writing mystery books. She goes to a convention in Vegas and is assigned roommates and then they find themselves in another case to solve.
I'm not sure exactly what is going on here. For someone who actively avoids short stories, I seem to be knocking out quite a few here lately and really enjoying them. (Even more surprising.) I haven't read any other of Ms. Hickey's books (a flaw I will be correcting as soon as possible) but apparently, the three detectives in this story are all from other series Ms. Hickey writes. Even not being familiar with the characters I was able to follow along and not feel lost. The mystery is fairly simple, the detectives go about finding the "bad guy" with a few humorous moments thrown in. All in all a very easy and delightful read. Just the break I needed from my normal "heavy" mysteries. I definitely recommend this book.
I was hoping for a mystery short story. Finding this one by Cynthia Hickey was a pleasant surprise to me. I have read other Christian Fiction Mystery novels by this author, and I have others on my wishlist. I felt this short story lacked much of the suspense and character depth that I enjoyed in the author's other works.
This book had a cute plot but was way too rushed & underdeveloped, even for a short story. I did like the writing style & only noticed one typo, though. I am interested in reading an actual book from this author.
