Easy to understand explanations of complex topicsDetailed, annotated trading chartsAccess to a thriving trading communityWhat New Trader U students are "It's simple, buy this book. It's an incredible value add for the money. Easy reading and direct to the point. In depth education on popular moving averages. This book is an extension from the New Trader U website which I also highly recommend. You get direct access to a seasoned trading veteran who has been there and done that. The cost is reasonable and the value is priceless." – Tim M.

"Steve once again delivers on the message of building a strong foundation for which all your future trading is built upon. When focusing on the method, many market gurus or books talk about moving averages and to buy and sell there but the why's are missing. This book give an excellent explanation of the why's. I've read several books by Steve Burns and I have generally found them helpful. Moving Averages 101 less so. I read this book immediately after another book by Mr. Burns: 39 Trading Habits. I should have stopped after this book. I have read so many superior books on the utilization of moving averages; Moving Averages 101 does not stack up. One other complaint: I felt as though the author wrote the book as an advertisement or enticement for additional services he offers as a trading trainer/consultant through his website and other mediums. It did not leave me with a warm feeling. I would not recommend.

Buena

Me gusta trabajar con medias moviles exponenciales, desarrolla la idea muy bien el autor, da ejemplos, es una estrategia muy buena, pero como toda estrategia debe ser adaptada al trader y no al reves. Saludos!¡!¡!¡

This book is great for beginner traders who haven’t used MAs and do not know what they are and what they are used for and how are they used, but those who already know and use MAs, it won’t add any value in my opinion.

Buen libro

Los conceptos están bien explicados aunque considero debiera tener más ilustraciones. Lo leí en Kindle y las gráficas no tienen color lo que dificulta un poco su entendimiento

A lot of repetitive portions - sometimes too frustrating.
The 5-day, 10-day, 21-day EMA sections basically say the same stuff - won't work if it is broken often, enter only if the current price is above 50-day SMA, exit at 70 RSA cross.
Same for 50-day, 100-day and 200-day SMA sections.
Also, each chapter has 'In this lesson we will learn' section at the start and 'What we learned' section at the end, both saying exactly the same.
The whole book feels like page-filling where the author could've come to the point and conveyed the full meaning in less than 20 pages (including graphs); why 104?!
I wish the author delved deep into MACD and its settings too; it was rather too quick and rushing.
Very quick read, you might get some knowledge nonetheless - skimming advised.
