Quite a storyline! Ember who is an immortal woman was sent to find out who was trafficking other Amaranths. She connects with Alek and his sister and get into the source with Alek's father who is the head of the mafia. Some secrets unravel, there's danger here and there. Never a dull moment in the story.
Low spice, slow burn. He falls first and harder. He's obsessed but Ember is resisting till she can't.
It was a good read if you need a story. Not much of a romance feel but a bit in there.
I received this as an advanced reader's copy, and this is my honest and fair review.
