Well
There was a lot going on in this book, too much to really explain. But I'll give you three words. Hunter. Vampires. William. Those are all the things that Katie has to deal with as she still searches for the truth of why people are starting to disappear again.

To be continued?
I think this is the last of the series but it leaves some threads loose and unfinished questions in my mind. Like William is immortal and Katie isn't at least I don't think she is but this issue never crosses her mind. She acknowledges Williams background/make constantly but when it comes to what that means for her relationship with him it's never addressed. Then there's the issue with the Werdulac, her cousin, Sachiko, David, Anton and her missing powers. Several of these characters just disappear or are just accepted that they were missing. The story just feels unfinished still.

Wow!
More paranormal creatures appearing in each book as Katie and William and their friends try to learn more in their quest to defeat the Werdulac. I do like that the author stays true to the characters she has created and that this is more of an adventure quest than a romance. There is a lot of repetition as she repeats things that happened in previous books, probably To help the reader recall things that have happened. However, I am eagerly looking forward to the next book!!
