Great three stories

First Cooper comes from Virgin River to find out why his friend dies. He Ends up taking on a dilapidated bait shop and bar renovation because his dead friend left it all to him in his will. He makes friends with a crusty old Vet who doesn’t talk much a young man who is being bullied and the local county deputy. All while dreaming over the fiery coast guard helicopter pilot that just happens to also be the young mans guardian.

Then we go into the stories of all the good Ben, Coopers friend did for this town and Cooper ends his wandering because of a beach , a view and a town.

The next books touch on teenage devastation when a boy cheats, dumps and new girl friend cyber bullies. how a single mom Gina copes to help her teen. The man she has loved for four years doesn’t want ore than a friendship. The man she loves Mac, is a single father of three the town deputy with his aunt Lou living with him to help raise his children the last ten years because their mother just walked out.

The third story deals with Sarah and Cooper’s adjust meant to Austin. Cooper’s 10 yr old son and his father Spencer moving to town. The crusty Vet Rawly bring his young distant cousin to town Devon and her little girl Mercy. Saving Mercy and Devon from a lunatic who runs a commune like his personal harem, which is where Devon had initially escaped from when Rawly to her in.

The books each evolve from the previous story and have a life of their own. Great set and looking forward to reading the next set.

I fell in love with this book series, which I listen to on audiobook when ever I have a chance, is a delight.

The characters of the town of Thunder Point are revealed one book at a time and woven into the story appearing in each subsequent novel, truly bring the town to life. A town I wouldn't mind living in.

This is not just about romance but rather love, heartbreak, past events, joys and trials of small town life ... And just the right amount of surprises to keep you hooked.

I'm already eying the other series Ms. Carr has written ...mmm 😃

I loved these three books, all of them. Always hated when one ended so was glad to have the series. They had enough villains to make it interesting and not too sugary sweet, but enough romance to suit me.

A classic feel-good Robin Carr reading. Nothing new here. A warmed up Virgin River. But still does us good

books connect reader to the characters

The characters are well developed and dialogue often uses humor. Characters lives are intertwined well with new people being introduced.

I just read the first three books in this series, following my complete enjoyment of reading many books in the Virgin River series. Sadly the two series are like chalk and cheese.

The Thunder Point books each have a massive cast of characters with individual story lines running simultaneously. It's very busy and scattered, and is akin to reading a soap opera. In writing this way, you sacrifice that wonderful deep connection for the "so called" main characters. The synopsis for each book really didn't have any bearing on each book at all. The plots blended and just ran on from book to book.

I also didn't appreciated great chunks of the story being devoted to teen romance - I stopped reading that genre a couple of decades ago, but like a TV soap, these books cover everyone's lives. If that's what floats your boat, then you'll love the series, but I grew weary of it halfway through the second book. The third book was pretty intolerable, with even more random characters and their superficial backgrounds being constantly tossed into the mix. Add to that an arrogant and boorish male lead who virtually forced himself on his female counterpart, then dumped her in the next instant, and I was done. Back to Virgin River I go!

THUNDER POINT BOOKS 1-3

This is a wonderful series, the first three books were great. I plan on reading the other six soon. Would recommend, the characters feel like friends- and the town a place I would love.

Where everybody knows your name

Robyn Carr has her own unique style, and with it, the reader is transported to Thunder Point, a town everyone would want to live. I read this as part of an anthology, and in reading all three, you become embroiled in the lives of the townsfolk.

Another great series by Robyn Carr

Such an awesome series. Great characters, heartwarming storylines filled with true to life romances. If you've read Virgin River you'll definitely love this series as well.

This is a great series. Better than Debbie Macomber. I have read all these. There are at least 9 or 10 of them by now.
