*** 1/2 stars
I really liked this episode, I have to say that in the beginning the pair...,,,interacted too fast? It seemed the meeting was rushed and the sex way, way too early in the book for me. Normally I don't mind it, but it has too fit the characters. For these two, Kat was WAY too trusting or too horny for good judgement.
I gotta say I LOVE ALL the biting scenes! LOL. You rarely see a guy do that in non paranormal books. I also liked that the story seemed..,,real? No murder or blackmail from an ex or co- worker. I wasn't a fan of Fiona (Blake's sister) but her interference made sense from where she's coming from. Even tho I wish she'd just leave them alone! XD
I love Meryl! I liked her as soon as I "saw" her, and my heart warmed up to Blake a little more at the love he showed his mom even though he doesn't express it well.
I read this episode in less than 1 day, and I'm glad to have read it. I'm a Kat/Blake fan for sure! Plus gotta have all those STEAMY scenes!
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
So this part leads straight on from the cliffhanger in part 1.
You get to know more about Blake and Kat in this book. You find out his reason for doing some of what he is doing. I feel sorry for Kat she has had too struggle to provide for her family and I feel like she isnt thinking about her own feelings enough.
Blakes mom Meryl is so sweet, I like the interaction between her and Kat. You also see a little more from Kats little sister Lizzy... The story is developing nicely again this part is left with another cliffhanger just to keep things interesting. Looking forward to starting part 3 and finding out where this is going to go from here.....
This is the 2nd book in this series and needs to be read in order.
Blake and Kats journey continues with this amazingly hot and sensual read. The banter that these characters have going on is simple refreshing. Blake the alpha male will take you on a hidden journey that you will have to read in between the lines with in getting the full aweness of him. Kat is just as feisty yet still in this read.
I was giving this book for an honest review. Well, I think she might have made a deal with the devil in this one. I Feel for Kat having to make sacrifices that compromise her happiness. I really hope Blake knows what he is getting. The story picks up right at where the other one left off. I felt we are getting to know Kat and Blake better. They have such better sweet moments. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next.
Episode two Exasperating, provocative, but steamy and sizzling! More of a understanding, compassionate relationship forms. The family values, structure, sincerity, & virtues are powerful creating the indecent proposal to become romantic and enchanting! There is a spark, chemistry, understand, even compassionate! The story is truly intriguing! This episode ends with a cliffhanger leaving you screaming...
Loved the second installment. The book opens with the engagement of Blake and Kat. Kat realizes that the engagement is only part of the agreement, but she is beginning to have feelings for Blake.
Blake is an enigma in the series so far. Is the way he acts only for the benefit of the agreement or because he is actually developing feelings for Kat? These Twohave to rush and get married. to ensure Blake's mother is still here!
I loved it! Episode two is bringing an interesting twist!!! This short little number shows us a deeper side of Blake while still keeping up the heat! Kat's behavior in front of the surfacing problems was unexpected which makes me eager to read on.... Come on Blake bring it on!!!!!
I am glad I did not stop after reading book 1 which I did not care for that much, but book 2 - I could not stop reading!!!
Book 2 is not an insta-love story, which I LOVE!!! Things move slowly in this "relationship". It is more of a Q and A - a "get to know you" type of beginning. I LOVE THAT!!!!
Kat is falling hard, but Blake does not show emotion or feelings at any time. I love that in a hero. You could feel that Blake was not a bad person. The author did a great job not haveing Blake talk about his feelings, but instead SHOWING the reader what Blake did for the people he cared for. He loves his mother and his sister even though Fiona is something else.
It is just Kat and her sister against the world and I loved that Kat's sister was not a brat. She wanted to help Kat. The sister did not want Kat to worry about her. I really liked the characters in this book.
"Lie, lie, lie! I dig my nail into my thumb to remind myself. There is no relationship. Blake and Kat is a lie. It is all pretend. (loc 464)
An ARC was received in exchange for an honest review.
I didn't mean to take so long with this one, but stuff happens. Sorry.
I'll say that I liked this book better than the first. The relationship between Kat and Blake is is further developed and we learn the reason for Blake's offer. The sexual tension grows and we learn more about both characters and what drives their decisions...
I enjoyed this book better than the first. But I started to notice the repetition of certain phrases and ideas, not just within this instalment, but even on the same page...I got distracted by it...just sayin'.
I received an ARC for a honest review. Episode two picks up right where one left off. Kat is swept up in the circus that is Blake. She looses her job because of her engagement and the attention it brought to her place of work. Blake continues to be in control. Kat meets his family and starts to understand him a bit better. She is still trying to figure him out. He wanted a pretend girlfriend which changed to a pretend fiancé. Now they are planning a quick wedding. What a whirlwind of a storyline! I can say that I do like this story and look forward to the next episode.
I liked how the plot thickened in the 2nd scene. We got more details on why the arrangement was made for Kat and Blake to be engaged so quickly. His love for his mother brought this about, making for an interesting expectation later on, hopefully. His sister, though, seems to want to make sure everyone is miserable while she is. Wow. Wow. Wow. I don't particularly care for the repetitive use of this. I received a free copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I am hooked. I love Kat and that is saying something cause I am really picky on my heroines. I sit on the fence with Blake, he still hasn't proven he is really a decent guy or not. So I will see in episode three. The very short sentences thing is at times annoying when there are several in a row. But I am honestly caught up in the story. I a already into episode 3 to find out what happens to Kat.
The Billionaire Deal :Episode Two by Crystal Kaswell
The story is getting good wonder what's going to happen now Blake's sister is acting up Blake is acting up can't wait to see what happen in book three I hope you are enjoying the books now I hope so Margie Moran
This is a good story but I would love love love to have Blake's POV. NOTE TO THE AUTHOR: SOME OF US READERS LOVE BOTH OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS POV FOR FUTURE REFERENCES.
I hope that by the end they both fall in love and get their HEA but not sure if it is going to happen. Fingers crossed.
This one is getting more addictive than I anticipated!!
Still hooked, but I'm getting frustrated with all these errors! Also, what's with Kat's "Wow. Wow. Wow." :S I really hope it's gone for the next couple of books!
The second book starts off where book two ends. We get to meet Blake's mother. She falls in love with his mother and so the story continues can Blake continue to his his true feeling for her? On to the next one. Must read!!!
