Sarah has spent too long belonging to someone a daughter, a captive, or leverage. But everyone has made the same mistake. They think she needs saving.

Komodo knows better. Violence is business, bloodshed is routine, and Sarah was never supposed to be anything more than a protected investment. Until he realizes there’s something dangerous and ruthless in her survival. Something that looks a little too much like him.

Now revenge is within reach, trust is becoming harder to fake, and the line between captor and protector is beginning to blur into something neither of them should want.

Some things get sweeter with time while others turn bitter.

And Sarah is about to discover exactly how she takes her coffee.

Liberty is an indie author who was born and raised in Los Angeles. Writing gives her the chance to bring her deliciously twisted thoughts to life, as well as channel her personal experiences and trauma into captivating stories. Don’t worry, she’s all about keeping those wild ideas safely tucked between the pages. Fiction is where the fun happens, after all.

When Liberty isn’t writing, she’s probably gaming, singing her favorite songs at a karaoke bar, or spending time with family and friends. She has a soft spot in her heart for all animals, an unhealthy obsession with crystals, and a deep love for the moon and stars—living by their magic and mystery.

If her stories have you hooked and begging for more, follow Liberty and stalk her (the friendly way) on social media for sneak peeks, updates, and exclusive goodies. Liberty would love to have you along for the wild ride!

“Princess ko..”

After reading Milk, it left me with curiosity around Kimodo and Sarah. When I saw Coffee and the synopsis, I had to find out what’s brewing!

Poor rich girl taken away and hid away amongst the commoners. Young, naiive, and looking for love, Sarah that she found it with a promise to get away and live in paradise. Dark trails leads to survival and carnage for the pretty princess under the watchful eye of the Kimodo. It’s then that she uncovers the truth of her father, the captivity and the family business.

“I’m his – in his home, his girl, his princess, so can’t he be my dragon too?”

I love how L.M. incorporated the deliberate simmer without getting burned too quickly. It has the perfect pace and the right amount of sweetness.

Lovers and new fans of L.M.’s work will not be left disappointed with this cup of Coffee. Just don’t forget the cream.

What a read! This book was SO good! I loved the overall story, it flowed really well and completely pulled me in. The characters and their progression were superb!

Our FMC, Sarah, starts off as this naive girl with a heart so full of love, only to be broken. She has to rebuild herself, learn to control and train her emotions, and ultimately become a weapon.

And who gets to mould our fierce lass into that weapon? Komodo! I LOVE this guy! A military man who knows exactly how to be dangerous. A monster. A man to be feared. He tries so hard to keep his distance from Sarah, but obviously…things happen, and before long, they’re addicted to each other. It was honestly beautiful to read their connection develop, even amongst all the torture and trauma.

But my favourite connection has to be Silim! He completely softens around Sarah and became one of my favourite found-family connections. It genuinely made my heart happy seeing Sarah find that kind of connection and family.

And can we talk about all the specialised coffees?! I NEED to try each of them! There are so many different ones, all with their own specific properties to help with an array of different circumstances, sleep, memory loss, stamina and so much more. I loved that little element woven into the story!

I’m also a complete sucker for a happy ending, and this one had me absolutely giddy! 🥹

The connection back to the first book, Milk, was fantastic too! I love when a series ties everything together and make those little connections feel so satisfying.

As for my favourite scenes…probably the pool scene 👀 iykyk! Or the revenge scene! And OH, the first torture scene! 😳 Argh! She really does NOT hold back! Omg, it’s all coming back to me as I’m writing this! 😂

Such a fun, interesting and completely addictive series!

A book title of one of my favourite things & it’s written by one of my favourite authors? You bet I was not going to miss out on this one!! I adore Liberty’s books & really enjoyed this.

Can I interest you in an age gap with an ex military man? Then look no further loves. It’s an intriguing read. The reason for FMC Sarah’s years long captivity is gradually revealed but now she she resides (rescued/held/it’s complicated) with the formidable & very well controlled Komodo… forgive me… daddy Komodo 😉. He’s a rather admirable MMC, doing all manner oh things for his girl, because make no mistake, Sarah is very much His.

It’s a shorter read, quick & easy to draw you in with a plot twist here & there to keep you captivated. Highly recommended & out today so go check it out!!

What to expect:

Possessive & obsessed
Captive
Coffee connoisseur

This is the story of what happens when she finally decides she's done being afraid ❤️‍🔥

She never needed a prince. She needed a dragon to stand with her 💀🖤

You know what I love about L.M. Stone’s books? I never know what kind of beautifully but crazy ride she’s about to take me on, and yeah Coffee was no exception.

This book was dark, emotional, hot as sin, and completely addictive. Sarah has spent her entire life being controlled, used, and treated like she belongs to everyone except herself. Watching her slowly find her strength, embrace her anger, and grow some seriously sharp teeth was EVERYTHING I wanted. She didn’t need someone to save her, she needed someone who would teach her how to become the danger. And Komodo? That man is one enormous, blood-soaked red flag, and I happily ignored every warning. He’s ruthless, possessive, controlling, terrifying, and somehow incredibly patient and protective when it comes to his princess. Watching this emotionally unavailable dragon slowly realise that Sarah had completely taken over his cold little heart was so damn satisfying.

Their relationship is twisted, complicated, wildly unconventional, and absolutely perfect for them. The age gap was a big one but ohh so yumm, the spice was deliciously filthy, and the combination of revenge, violence, obsession, and unexpected tenderness had me completely hooked.

This wasn’t a soft fairytale. It was a story about a princess growing teeth and a dragon learning how to love, and I devoured every dark, bitter, and surprisingly sweet drop. The pacing worked so well, and the writing was shining once again.

Thank you L.M. for this amazing book.
