“A Family Bargain with the Duke” by Emma Linfield

-This is an enjoyable marriage-of-convenience romance. Lady Louisa Everly and Julian Cavendish, Duke of Ashvale, marry to care for and protect their wards, Kit and Eleanor. Raising an infant and an eight-year-old brings them closer as their practical arrangement gradually turns into love.
Their growing bond makes this a sweet, satisfying story of an unexpected family.

I Thoroughly Enjoyed This Book!

If you love reading regency books this book will not disappoint!! What starts out as a marriage of convenience to assist with the Duke’s ward Kit and to protect Louisa’s ward Eleanor. As they progress through their journey raising the children they gradually grow more familiar with each other and become something they never imagined.

A Family Bargain with the Duke

I confess that proposing to my husband did not happen in his study. It was in a1968 GTO and he was the King rather than a Duke. However, agreeing to do something is not quite as simple as signing an agreement. You really should read the story. I hope it continued at least 50 years but we’ll have to ask the author for the outcome.
