It was supposed to be a night of mind blowing sex- a night without strings or traps- and nothing more. But somewhere along the way, both Gideon Romanov and Gianna Ellington found more than just unbridled passion in each other's arms. Now neither knows how to escape the trap without causing the other more pain.

With their fates intertwined and written long before their births, Gideon and Gianna must decide what is most important in their lives and fight for what they want.

Even if it means breaking the bonds of love and loyalty that have bound their hearts and fates together.

I received an advanced copy of this for beta reading. The characters are so developed and have such strong personalities that you really feel like you know who they are! I love the style of the storyline, weaving multiple stories together. Overall a wonderful piece of work!

The author must have put her blood, sweat and tears into the writing of this book!

I found it difficult to put this book down. She used such fine details to describe the characters that you felt as though you were personally laying your eyes upon them. To find the beauty in honest love with believable set backs is so hard to find in a good read! I found myself audibly yelling at the characters as my family questioned my sanity. The story line not only weaves a web around your emotions but at pivotal points the author jumps from one story line of the main characters to an equally impressive side line story (2). You will find yourself comparing characters on their physical traits and emotional happenings while taking into account their nontraditional pasts.

The author truly brings a world of fantasy, wonder and deep emotions to life in this page turner. I received this book in exchange for an honest review and even though I have completed reading this book already I will be purchasing a hard copy to read this again and again!!!

ARC Review:

I had gotten this as a beta reader in exchange for an honest review, and I have to say it was time well spent for me! The flow of the story lines are on par with the authors style of writing with no crazy inaccuracies or time jumps like so many other books. The writing is easy to understand- though prepare to break out the dictionary as there were a few words in there that made me have SAT prep flashbacks! I love that there are stories within a story, not only am I getting this story but getting bits and pieces of what's to come next from this author. The attention to detail is amazing in the story, if you ever find out how to replicate the forest room...let me know!!!! Gideon and Gianna are a fabulous couple. Just enough of a mix of passion, excitement, and torment!!! You want to hate how much she makes you care for the characters! I should have known by the title and the earlier books what was bound to happen, but you never quiet expect how it Mrs Tetreault is going to do it! It gets me every time!!! All I can say now is read her works, if I say anything else I'll give away the whole story!!! Five stars, must read, can't believe I have to wait for the next one!!!

This book was hard to put down! I was lucky enough to be a beta reader and was blown away with it. Can a fated love work with 2 head strong people? Can love triumph after so many trials? You fall in love with the characters, feel like you are right there with them and pray that things work out.

If you are looking for a book to numb your mind and help you relax...look elsewhere! I received an ARC of Fated and this book had me going through so many different emotions, I thought I'd need to get a prescription for Zoloft! I loved the indepth plots, the nail biting cliffhangers, and the relatable characters. I don't want warm and fuzzy feelings, and Mrs. Tetreault doesn't give me that. She gives me "what the heck just happened" and "seriously...you know I can't put the book down now" moments. You feel like you are right there beside the characters, living it with them. The author has you laughing out loud one chapter, and crying and cursing her the next. I CANNOT wait to read her next book!!!

Once again Brenda has left me feeling emotions I never though possible! I love this series so much! I recieved an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. Honestly I coulnd't be more thrilled with the way this turned out. I have fallen in love with the characters once more throught Brenda's masterful way of weaving multiple stories together. Once you fall in love with the main two characters, you find yourself drawn into the love stories and conflicts of all the other characters. At the end of Fated you will be left wanting, but only wanting more of Brenda's amazing art!

Omg Mrs Tetreault has done it again! like her previous novels this one is completely captivating. it's amazing how she let's you say hello to old friends from previous novels and to be teased by the next novel all while telling a great stand alone story-so if you haven't read the others no fear, dive right in and you can catch up on the previous novels when she leaves you breathlessly hanging waiting to see what happens in the next book.

Three times that I have read Fated which is the fourth book in the Nightshade series.

I was asked to Beta read it but could not open it in the correct program so I read it and even in rough draft I fell in love with the story and...most...of the good characters.

Finally I did my job but as I had already pre-ordered a copy opted not to review till I'd read the final draft. I still love it but there is that one...I don't think I'll ever take to him.

This book starts as a love story between Gideon Romanov and Gianna Ellington. In amongst them we have Brownies, Orcs, Pixies, Sprites and more - like Feral Snotlings - just as bad as they sound.

Following one night of sexual ecstasy, including a magical shower, the author could have got away with 'and they all lived happily ever after'.

But no. Brenda Tetreault was just getting started...using her talents as a writer and fairly convoluted thought processes she wrote a mystery, a thriller, a horror a book as full of bad men as it is faerie magic.

I have read it three times. It was worth it. I will never forget this book.

Pixies, Sprites, Orcs, Unicorns and more...
This book has it all - romance, suspense, mystery.... the writing is very good and the characters well developed. There are several story lines, each interesting in its own way and then they weave together beautifully toward the end of the story.

A. Faye Hughes does a great job with the voices and story telling. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book.

Interesting scenarios and the story feels full. This deals with the supernatural and despite how many supernatural books I’ve read, this felt unique. Engrossing.

There ended up being the stories of 4 different couples and the bad guy, so they all had some POV’s. I enjoyed all of the stories, but it did feel a bit excessive; it would’ve been nice to focus on building up the story more, rather than the main focus being on relationship drama. The main couple Gideon and Gianna were sweet with each other, but oh boy! Gideon was so frustrating! Gianna is a saint! These two create problems out of nothing, lol! It’s still a cute story with some intense spice. I loved the depth of connection between all of the couples. There’s definitely some steam among them all. There is some closure, but still lots to be decided among some of the couples too, which I’d like to read how they end up, so I’d like to continue the series.

I listened to the audio version and the narrator did a great job. She has multiple characters she has to voice, and she did good at distinguishing them most times. A solid performance. The only thing that didn’t quite work for me was the abrupt POV changes, which may be fine reading, but took a moment to realize that there’s a different POV going on. The POV’s change within the same chapter; sometimes multiple POV changes within one chapter, so it was a bit of a pain changing my mindset to the different characters. Also, all the characters with POV’s don’t really interact, so it’s a completely different scenario going on. Overall, I enjoyed the audio.

The narrator is différent in this one then the others. She speak normally unlike the last narrator so you can probably keep your speed at normal. There were différences with the voices however. In the first few ariel didn't have a western accent but Boon did, it seems they swapped these voices around.

There are multiple stories that run in these books, I have gotten used to it, since starting the series. You will definetly want to read/listen to them in order. There is also à lot going on so you don't want to be multi taking while listening or you might miss something. I found the section changes hard to follow in this one vs the others not à long enough gap between the end of one start of the other so it sometimes takes à couple sentences to realized you've changed scènes and couples.

Ok this one I struggled with. Not sure if it’s the narrator change or just the content. I liked it up to a point then I struggled to stay focused. I did enjoy Gideon and Gianna’s story. It is easy to get swept along on with these entertaining stories. Gideon and Gianna have some cute times. I loved the all the brownie scenes. Describing them as 3 apples tall was a great perspective. There is so much going on In these stories. Action, suspense and sexiness.

I did listen to this on audio. As mentioned above this is a new narrator to the series and it was a struggle to stay focused on the story. I think I just got used to characters sounding a certain way and in here they were different.

And the series continued in a wonderful way. Yes, bad things happened, but Gianna and Gideon were able to figure things out. Gideon needed to make his own decisions, and Gianna went about helping with that. They were such a sweet couple, and with a little push from Fate, Gideon helped make sure they stayed a couple. There was more on the horizon, and a couple more pairs that need to work things out, but I enjoyed this story. With a new narrator, A. Faye Hughes, I wasn't sure what to expect, but she did a wonderful job continuing on with this world.

I received a copy of this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

Listened to the first 4 books on Audible and the switched narrator's on this one. She was good but I preferred the original. I don't think they spent enough time on the Mc's story, but with all of the sub plots and other couples in the book it would have been twice the size. I am enjoying this series and I am just about to start on Bonded, but I have to read it the old fashioned way as it isn't available on Audible yet.
