This is a 7th-century law tract, a writing of earlier legal tradition that used to be transmitted orally from teacher to student, so it is obviously focused on legal matters like ownership and penalties for injury or theft, but some information on the knowledge and practices of bee-keeping can be deduced, too. Excellent introduction and apparatus by Thomas Charles-Edwards and Fergus Kelly.
