Bathtimes can be wild, especially when animal babies are involved! Sometimes messy, often chaotic and always exhausting, they offer perfect bonding opportunities - of a kind! Courtney's wacky style and eye for detail perfectly illustrate the fun, laughter and love shared each day in family life.
If putting a little one to bed can be a bit wild, getting him/her to take a bath can be even more hectic. In this bilingual board book, readers watch as various parent animals, including a penguin and a pig, work hard to coax their little ones into taking a bath. Each of the illustrations shows the caregivers getting the worst end of things in amusing ways. It's a wild world in those bathrooms, even when they are outside. The book was first published in the United Kingdom and is just the right size for small hands to hold.
Cute book, cute illustrations. As a parent who doesn't particularly enjoy a wild splashy bath time, this one wasn't one I wanted my kids to get too inspired by, if you know what I mean. Luckily neither kid seemed too attached or enthralled by this book, so it got returned to the library relatively quickly.
A perfect read for parents and young children who enjoy a “wild” bath time. Adorable animal parent and baby pairs help illustrate some of the important parts of bath time for children. This book is very short so it’s perfect for it’s intended audience of very young children.
