A simply wonderful read, Elijah and Ashleigh are characters that have been written wonderfully
This is a wonderfully captivating dark mafia shifter romance there is a terrific undertone that carries enemies and it holds you as the reader within its clutches and the story is full of distinct characters and a plot that held me riveted from the start of the book to the end.
Elijah is the head of security for the Crimson Shadow Pack which was sent to retrieve the alpha’s daughter Ashleigh and discovered that she is his mate. The alpha was able to catch her scent as he had just come out of the shower, she had been naked and she had been able to see the interest in Elijahs eyes.
They had made no effort of hiding the fact that he wanted me and that he wanted to mark me as his mate right there and then and she had been very wary of the situation.
He has made it obvious to the rest of the pack that she is his, he has staked his claim and it is obvious to them that he wants nothing more than to breed her.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Sara Fields crafts a suspense filled story with a punch. Ashliegh has always expected to have an arranged marriage. She is the only daughter of Amir who leads a pack.
Elijah is Amir's primary enforcer. He thwarts an attack on Ashleigh by vampires. He rescues her and recognizes her as his mate. She fights him but recognizes the futility of her actions.
Elijah and his followers leave the pack, but he expects retribution. The defeat vampires who have overtaken a town which encompasses the villa he was promised.
Ashleigh recognizes Elijah is her mate but continues to be resistant to some of his actions.
There is a spectacular ending to this story with an HEA ending.
The characters were well developed, the plot had plenty of twist and turns.
While I don't usually read this genre, I do find Sara Fields stories wonderfully complex.

A very hot and steamy story about Elijah who walks away from The Crimson Pack and it's Alpha Amir in disgust at what is happening, taking with him loyal followers and Amir's daughter Ashleigh, rescued from a vampire attack and about to be married off to one. Discovering she is his mate doesn't make it easier for Ashleigh, but does she want it to be easy as she realizes just how dark her desires go when she is punished by Elijah. With threats from all angles, together they have to learn to work together and discover not just a mutual love for each other but for the people that look to both of them for leadership and support.

A dark story that has all that you would expect from Sara and so much more.

Ashleigh, a sheltered pack leader’s daughter destined to be married off to whomever her power hungry father sees fit, comes face to face with Elijah, her father's brute. The encounter leads to an intense story filled with spice, banter, and total alpha behavior.

Ashleigh is likeable, she becomes a lot more interesting as she starts to open herself up to new desires and strengths.

Elijah is all around dominant presence in the book. His strict, commanding, sweet, and quite fond of spankings and punishment.

The plot is fast paced, full of cheeky banter, high spice, and lots of praise. Overall, it's a fun read full of heavy spice and some plot.

Ashleigh is the Alpha's daughter, and Elijah is one of her father's strongest soldiers. When Ashleigh is attacked, Elijah is there to protect her, and he realizes that she's his fated mate. When he finds out her father has promised her in marriage to another, Elijah goes into protective mode and is determined to keep her safe from her father and the vampire clan. This is a fated mates, shifter romance with an interesting vampire/wolf twist. The writing is good, and the story is action packed with steam, suspense, family drama, and so much more. Alpha Brute is book three of the Wolf Kings series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

No Wow but okay
Crescent is definitely one of my go to authors.
This story hit differently for me. It wasnt the character personality at all. It just wasnt a fav of mine.
We know vampires and wolves don't mix well. In this bit. They get along kinda. Mostly the Vs are using the wolves to help along their extracurricular activities. Not all the wolves are on that same page.
Brute defines him. A waste of fur defines that Alpha and entitled defines the daughter. Read how it all hits the fan and comes back around

I enjoyed the story even with the bulk of it centering on the physical interaction between Ashleigh and Elijah. I liked that as the story progressed, Ashleigh became a much stronger person and less self-centered. The action was intense and the fighting was quite gory at times. There is one aspect of this story that I really liked and that’s the fact that it starts with a Prologue and ends with an Epilogue. I wish every story I read had both of these components. Overall it was a nice read.

Let me start with saying there is more intense physical scenes with Elijah and Ashleigfh, the scenes spankings and rough to the boarding on noncon. Elijah is an orphan that worked his way uip in the Crimson Shadow Pack but stil has an alpha energy. When he catches the sent of the alpha's daughter, he knows she is his mate. He makes a deal to leave with his mate and several other wolves. It not really that easy and he will have to protect her.

This is the third part of the Wolf Kings series. If you like dark, gloomy, and shifter novels, then this book is right up your alley. They were great, and at times he was a real brute and then I didn't like him that much, but he could also be good at times. Enough tension, action, and danger, and enough hot and steamy moments between them.

A dark shifter romance with nonstop action from beginning to end. The Alpha’s daughter Ashleigh resisted the draw to Elijah even though they were fated mates. Elijah was her father’s most fierce fighter but she was meant for another. Until her father went too far in his quest for power and riches… I received a free copy of this book. I really couldn't get into this book. I've read some of this authors other work and been ok with it, but the sex in this book was almost brutal. It really threw me off and I couldn't finish the book. I dont know if it is just this series or just this book but I wasn't feeling it.

Things get very interesting with the vampires and Ashleigh father trying to destroy Elijah. However, Elijah will not be eliminated that easy. Great story .
