A writer of action thrillers and adventures, mostly WWII inspired by secret agents of the SOE. My first book, "Resistance" (2007) was short-listed for the Branford-Boase Award, and my highly-acclaimed award-winning Special Operations Series (4 titles) has been followed by various short-format illustrated EDGE titles for Franklin Watts (Hachette). I am currently working on a swashbuckling novel set during the Glorious Revolution of 1688.

Jacques is a French resistance fighter, operating as a spy in Nazi-occupied France. The story starts with his very near capture by Nazi soldiers during an operation and his protection by other resistance members who guide him, under great peril to themselves across enemy lines with an injured RAF airman, Tommy.

With powerful illustrations by Marc Olivent, this is a truly exciting, graphic novel, suitable for fans of the magazine "Commando", evocative of the period in which both the writing and illustrations capture. Although written for so-called "reluctant" readers, anyone who loves the War Story genre can enjoy this short novel.
