I have to say I am so freaking grateful for the realistic and accurate as well as detailed alternative lifestyle stories we get from Phoebe Alexander. She will always bring the sass, drama, and realness with her novels and I have never been more grateful to see some literature that I personally can relate to on a personal level like I do with her novels. This book did all of these things and more, keeping me on the edge of my seat to find out which fork in the road our characters will take and the consequences that come with those choices.

Mountains Loved in the third book in her Mountains series and so far now my new favorite, which is hard for me to say since I adored the second book too! DO NOT read these books out of order! I sincerely feel like you would be missing so much that makes these storylines flow if you did so. The story progresses and follows through each consecutive book. The story will provoke feelings in you that you didn’t know you had the capacity to feel for someone who is ‘made up.’ I found myself both chuckling and tearing up at many points and I just love a book that makes me want to crawl into my bed deeper and get lost in the world I am reading about. The Mountains series will take you there far away to the mountains where you will fall in love all over again. I can't wait to get my hands on the next books!

Am back again in the world of Sarah and James seeing how thier relationships has progressed over this series. This is a book that deals with alot of different concepts portrayed to real life. It's full of emotions. Some of this real hit home with me as i suffered this myself so in relating to a book this comes extremely close. I love how caring Sarah's children are towards her. I adored the ending of this book.

I was disappointed with this third book. I gave a three stars rating but I was being generous. (This after giving five stars for book two.) Adding Abby's storyline into the primary tale of James/Sarah's journey became disruptive for this reader. The author's constant flipping between Abby and James/Sarah's storyline altered the dynamics for the book. Abby needs her own book which would have been a perfect pathway for the author to continue the series with other characters.

I wanted to sit on this one for a few days and savor the satisfaction of a 3-part book that evoked so many emotions. There were moments, as with the first two books, when I wanted to reach into the book and ring James' neck, just a little bit (or a lot, who am I kidding). But I just knew, that Sarah, as the grounding force in his life, would be there even in the hardest of times.

They have gone through so much even before this book, and if you're expecting their relationship to be all sunshine and rainbows, then you would be disappointed. Because that's not how life works, and this story is true to the challenges of relationships. Being in a poly lifestyle can bring even more challenges when we aren't telling our partners what we want and need. And surprisingly, we find it isn't just James who isn't communicating well in Mountains Loved; it's Sarah as well.

They go through some tough things here, and I cried right along with Sarah, as her heart broke into a million pieces that seemed beyond repair. Ms. Alexander has touched on some very real issues, and I'm grateful that she wrote about them, the honesty, the emotions, it's raw and real. I have a feeling that I'm not going to be the only one that isn't quite ready to let this family go, which is excellent news, because as I look at the Mountains lineup, Abby will take center stage. This has been a wonderful journey, and I can't wait to find out what's next.

I loved reading the story Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) by Phoebe Alexander. It is the third book in the story of James and Sarah. These two have chemistry and a strong love for each other. They also still have some mountains that they must climb. Situations with family and if they will have an open relationship are complications that they must face. What does the future hold for James and Sarah? Will they be torn apart? Will their relationship crumble or will they overcome the mountains that are before them? Read this book to find out. James and Sarah are wonderful characters and this story only makes me love them even more. This is a book that had my emotions going up and down the entire time I was reading it. There are heartbreaking moments when I had misty eyes and heartwarming moments that are amazing to read about. There are characters from the first two stories brought forward and I enjoyed reading about how their lives are progressing and also how they interact with Sarah and James. This is a book that I found myself thinking about even after I had read the final page. This is a story that deals with trust, past experiences, and grief. It is a book that you don’t want to miss out on. This is a series that is best read in order for a full understanding of what is happening. Highly recommend reading.

I have so many conflicting emotions with this book….I don't think I have ever in all my years of reading wanted to crawl into a book and hit somebody upside the head as bad as I wanted to in this book. This is an ongoing story so please don't try to read this as a standalone, there is so much substance you will be missing if you do that. I will not go into any detail regarding the storyline so as not to spoil anything from the first 2 books.

There is so much involved in this story that I don't understand and don't relate to, but I sincerely felt every emotion as if I did. I have grown to understand a little bit more after finishing because of the way this author explained the feelings being felt throughout. I have become completely invested in these characters, every one of them and was sad when i hit the end. I have such a high respect for Sarah, i could feel the torment she went through at times as if it were me in the story, her strength to do what her head told her to do even though her heart was shattered was so brave, classifying her as one of the strongest people i have ever read about.

I truly loved this book, the writing style of this author is unmatched and she has made putting the books down almost impossible. I very often love to go back and reread some of my favorites and I can not wait to do that with this whole series.

This was the conclusion of James and Sarah's story which began in ‘Mountains Wanted’ and continued in ‘Mountains Climbed’.“Intended for readers 18+, the first three Mountains Series books must be read in order, as it is James and Sarah's continuing saga”.
Sociology Professor Dr. Sarah Lynde and Lt. James McAllister are finally together having discovered that, “Time doesn't heal all wounds...LOVE does”. Life has not been easy for either Sarah or James and their relationship has been very rocky from the start even now they are together their relationship is not a conventional one. Having come together as a family with Sarah’s two teenage children they are happily married and even talking about having a baby, but their main concern is whether to have an open or closed marriage having had a polyamorous relationship in the past. Normal everyday pressures along with past issues all put a strain on their relationship. The couple are used to having to climb mountains where their love is concerned but have they now got a rock solid relationship or will it crumble into the sea? No spoilers, but if you have read books one and two you will definitely want to read this fantastically written book and find out their fate.
This is another action packed story by Alexander, full of excitement, emotions, hot steamy sex scenes, romance and everyday relatable issues all of which makes this a book I could not put down.

This is the third book in the Mountains series and I highly recommend reading them in order. This is a continuation of James and Sarah’s story and you won’t want to miss a thing! Once again, Ms. Alexander takes you on an emotional rollercoaster that you won’t soon forget. This is a thought provoking journey with wonderfully written characters and scenes. My heart is still feeling it, even after finishing the book!

I have honestly grown to love Sarah and her family and friends. So this story had me feeling a bit disconnected from Sarah on several occasions. I guess I have gotten so involved with their lives that I was truly angry at her for some of her decisions in this one! She shows a vulnerability that I didn’t expect and it upset me at times! Just like her family and friends, I guess I saw her as Superwoman and wanted her to always be that strong woman who never second guessed herself. We truly see how human she is in this story. James will have you frustrated beyond belief throughout this one! I was at a point where I really wanted to kick him to the curb!

I don’t want to say much more because I don’t want to give you and spoilers. Just know that you won’t regret reading this series if you like a great story that will open your mind and leave you with all the feels!

This is the continued story of Dr. Sarah Lynde and Lt. James McAllister. This I think was the hardest book to read, as James and Sarah still have struggles. Don't get me wrong. All relationships have struggles, we have all been there. But for Sarah and James, this is a whole new struggle. Learning to be honest and communication is a real struggle. James sure tried, Sarah and even my patience. So having said that let's throw in some polyamorous and see who talks first. This is where open communication happens. Do you think these two can get through this? Can Sarah and James work together to climb yet another mountain? Recover and still love each other?

Phoebe Alexander has written yet another book that tore my heart out. I think this series gave so much to their story. You can't help but fall in love with her characters. Phoebe Alexander writes of strong women, who fight for what they want. She also writes from her heart. This series hit so many feelings. Happy, sad, anger, and communication, let's not forget trust. This series is for those over 18. Take a chance and give this some reading. Remember to read the series in order. Thank You Phoebe Alexander for this great series!!!

Mountains Loved is the third book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. This book picks up a little after the conclusion of book two, so I really recommend reading the first two books before starting on this one as this isn’t a standalone and is meant to be read as part of the series. The first two books have really important details which you will need to fully understand and appreciate this book.
James and Sarah have gone through a lot, climbing their mountains, through every stage of this series- and just when they are finally together and looking towards the future they’d envisioned together- life throws them yet another mountain to climb. Is their love strong enough to see them through, or will this be the one mountain that proves too difficult to traverse?
I felt this was the most emotive of the three books so far- full of passion, heartbreak, love, tears, and joy. This story had my emotions strapped to a bungee cord, diving and then soaring, and plunging again, all over the place. Playing with my emotions is something I have found that Ms. Alexander does incredibly well, and on a regular basis, through all her books.

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander is a story that is full of many, many raw emotions. There were many times when I wanted to grab hold of James and strangle him, I just couldn’t believe him, but I should have known better after the first two books. This is not a book of rainbows and unicorns as we would have believed after the last book. This book gives us a look at a relationship that is real and lacking in communication, sometimes love is not enough. It also gives a look at how dangerous it is if you allow others into your relationship.

Sarah, gets put through the wringer with this book and she does it all selflessly for the man she loves. Unfortunately, she has to do a lot of it on her own and she doesn’t know where she will end up. My heart broke in half for her as Phoebe gave us an honest and raw story.

James wants his cake and eat it too and expects that Sarah will just go along with it. He is selfish and can’t see her side of things even though many show him, but it is hard to take a good long look at yourself sometimes. I’m not sure if he can redeem himself with me…….

I can’t wait to see where Phoebe takes us next. I am assuming we will get more of a look at Abby, but you never know.

The conclusion of James’ and Sarah’s story is not without its ups and downs. The third book of their story picks up a little in the future from where the second one left off. James and Sarah are now married. Like previous books, it switches back and forth between Sarah’s POV and James’ POV. This sometimes gets a little confusing because there is no indication at the beginning of the new chapter as to who’s POV it is.
Sarah and James set out to build their family, as they talked about in previous books. This sets into motion a series of events that are full of love, heartbreak, tears, and happiness. I do not want to give anything away, as it should be experienced by the reader, but there is plenty of emotion. Like in other books, their poly relationship is explored and it adds to the drama of the story.
I have enjoyed each book in the series, and this was no exception. It was well written and feels like real-life. I felt myself drawn into their story and pulling for both of them to have their happy ever after. Some of the supporting characters played a bigger role this time…setting them up for future books (which I will definitely be checking out!).

Mountains Loved is the third book in the Mountains series written by Phoebe Alexander. As usual, I cannot say enough good things about this author and her style of writing… she is just phenomenal. Also, per usual, I will say that you need to read this series in the order that it was written. This is the continuation of the story about James and Sarah. From the very first page of book one I was absorbed in the love story with these two. I was thrilled that things finally worked out for them as a couple as I was fighting for them all along. Some of the things in this book were hard to read (regarding infertility issues and miscarriages) so it may not be suitable for everyone. I felt the heartache myself, as if it were me who was the one suffering through these terrible things. I also felt sadness in my soul when there were points brought up about how quickly your children grow up. But I will say that every emotion I felt while on the roller coaster of reading this book was so worth the beautiful ending. I will forever be a Phoebe fan and will seek to get my hands on anything that she has written.

Mountains Loved is the 3rd book in the excellent Mountains Series by Phoebe Alexander. Books 1-3 are Sarah and James’ story and should be read in order. The remaining books are stand-alones and can be read in any order. I had oved books 1&2 and could not wait to see how Sarah and James’ story turned out. In true Phoebe Alexander style it was action packed, hot and steamy and had a few curveballs to keep you on your toes.
In Mountains Loved we move 2 years on from the end of Mountains Climbed. Sarah and James are now married and Abby has gone to college. Having settled into married life James and Sarah are now considering whether it’s time to add another person into their polyamorous relationship and also trying to have a child of their own together. These events put a great deal of strain on the marriage and both start to question what they really want.
I have to say that there were times in this book that I really hated James. I just wanted to shake some sense into him. I guess it’s partly due to me not being polyamorous and just wanting James and Sarah to be together but also due to James being a complete douche at times. I really felt so sorry for Sarah, she just wanted to be happy and to be loved.
This book took me on a very emotional journey. I laughed and I cried. Oh yes, I cried. Parts of this story will really pull at the heartstrings. I won’t give any spoilers but will just say that you should really give this series a try. It’s awesome!!

I absolutely love this author! I don’t think she has written a book that I haven’t loved yet and I was so, so excited to read the third book in this series – I love the characters Sarah and James! Their story has been so up and down with a whole host of things along the way so I was really looking forward to seeing what was going to happen next for them. I’m not quite sure I’ve gotten off the emotional rollercoaster that Ms Alexander had me on during this story! I laughed, I cried and I shouted (mainly at James!) at the book many times whilst I was reading it! I have been rooting for Sarah and James since they very first met and I have really taken them both into my heart! My heart really ached for Sarah in this story though; it wasn’t what I was expecting at all! The author writes her books in such a way that they really do feel real at times, I can visualise the settings, the characters and their feelings whilst I am reading. A fantastic, heartfelt and emotional read that I highly recommend!

Mountains Loved is the third book in the Mountains Series by Pheobe Alexander. Holy Cow , what a story. I think this one is my favorite yet. I literally found myself lost in the pages. I couldn’t stop reading till the end. I was invested in this book so much I at times was biting at my nails not because of suspense but because the scene was hot and steamy. There is a bit of drama and a little bit of sadness but the steamy scenes will take your mind off the drama . I will highly recommend reading this series in order as they are Also James and Sarah’s story. This is the continuance of their story and holy cow its quite the journey. I love these two characters, actually love all the characters but these two have been through so much together. Can these two get the HEA they’ve always wanted? .Find out what happens next in this absolute must read . I truly look forward to reading more from this Author.

Mountains Loved by Phoebe Alexander is the third book in the Mountains series. This book must be read in order as it is a continuation of James and Sarah’s story.
The previous books have been building to everything that happens in this book. We have followed the characters on their journey the whole way through.
This author has done an amazing job of creating such lasting and engaging characters. I was drawn to them and could not wait to read more about them.
I was torn over this book because I couldn’t wait to read it as I had to know what was going to happen. But at the same time I didn’t want this journey to end, I was enjoying it so much.
Phoebe Alexander has easily become one of my favourite authors and this series is the perfect example as to why. If you haven’t read this series already then I cannot stress enough how much you should. This is a fantastic series and one o would highly recommend.

I guess some xs u have 2 watch things crumble b4 u can build them back up even stronger than b4. James had 2 get his head out of his ass from his dad b4 he realized what truly matters the most. And 2 abby's dad it's a good thing he finally got his head out of his ass 2 really c the truth of the psycho bit cheaper b4 he married her. People shouldn't judge other's for anything cause of their race or gender. It's bad enough society makes people feel bad but there's no true reason 4 it. God created everything 4 a reason and part was NOT 2 treat others badly but 2 let people live in peace. It was good that the new friends that abby made treated her as herself just like her whole family did on her mom's side. It's really bad and hard when u loose a child in a miscarriage but at least they got 2 have this special baby 2 have everything rolled into 1 2 highlight them all in a way.

This is the third book in the Mountain Series and we find ourselves with Sarah and James. I highly recommend reading this story in order. We are with Sarah and James at the start, middle, and now the final destination of their story. It is refreshing to follow a couple from when it started. I have a deeper understanding where they are coming from in their relationship. There have been many mountains for these two. Some rough patches, but they always find their way back to each other. In this story, Sarah and James thought that they had climbed their last mountain, well that is just a little more for them to climb. There is something not happening with Sarah and James. There is one piece of the puzzle that has eluded them. Will this puzzle piece missing can Sarah and James overcome this mountain before them? You will have to read this series to find out.

This is a series I have loved from the beginning and the third book brings it over the top. I highly suggest reading this series in order to help understand Sarah and James's story better. In this book their story continues. Just when they think they are hitting the top of their mountain, they realize that the mountain has just gotten bigger and there is more to climb. There is something missing in their relationship, will they find it to get their HEA that they have always wanted? They are awesome characters with great chemistry. They make the story come to life, engaging and really made the story for me. I highly recommend reading their must read story, you won’t regret picking it up!

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series Book 3) by Phoebe Alexander. I honestly don’t know how this author does it, I swear she’s pure magic with words! Every book is better than the last! I was so excited to be back with Sarah and James I’ve been missing them. They have chemistry that just jumps off the pages and their story pulls me in immediately. I feel a coming home feeling when I get to continue their story. Please read theses amazing books in order to fully understand and get their story. The characters and storyline are so well written I find myself forgetting time of day and realize I’ve read the day away. If I could give more than five stars I would but it’ll have to do. Highly recommended!

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) By Phoebe Alexander. I love this series. Its the story of Dr. Sarah Lynde & Lt. James McAllister. These books need to be read in order to get the full story. They have had to climb many mountains to get where they are but the mountain climbing isn't over. This relationship is not all sunshine and puppies. There are other people involved which always makes things more complicated but there relationship is alone stormy. They have a steamy attraction to one another but when communication isn't clear between each other then things can get all wonky. James isn't the only one not to communicate well Sarah has her own issues with communication. Will their relationship stand the Mountains they have to climb. Read Mountains Loved to find out!

I've followed this series from the very start & the third Book is by far the best one out of the series. This series should be read in order to get the best possible reading experience! This book is a continuation of James and Sarah's story and they're are learning that even though life is currently good, there will always be another Mountain to climb. They have to decide if this challenge is the end for them or will they learn that the HEA they've been searching for is worth fighting for?
This story had amazing characters and the author kept me interested and invested in the story from the very beginning. I am so looking forward to reading more by this author! I would recommend this Book to a friend who loves romance!

This is a really good book. You get to see James and Sarah fight for what they want. They continue to climb toward the ultimate goal. A forever kind of HEA. I wish the past would stay in the past. Life gets complicated enough without the past coming to the front of your mind. It takes some strong willed people to overcome the same fears being in a polygamous relationship. Family can be the biggest pain the bottom or support you 100% of the time. The future for this couple is unknown but I think they would prefer to do what ever it is together. I like this author the stories always fee real and authentic. I definitely recommend you check this series out you will not be disappointed.

Going into the third book, I was already invested in James and Sarah's relationship from the beginning and I needed to know where their relationship was going to take them. You must read these books in order so that you can get the full picture of how these two got to where they are now. In this book they have run into some issues that were emotional and I felt every one one them jumping off the pages. The author does an exceptional job writing this story and conveying different things that may come with this lifestyle. I absolutely loved this story. I won't give anything away but this is a must read. I highly recommend this book.

Mountains Loved (Mountains Series #3) By Phoebe Alexander was a steamy, romantic, and fun read. This novel continues to follow James and Sarah and cannot be read as a standalone. I love how much their characters have changed through out this series. This is my new favorite of the series. I lived following them through the ups and down of this third book. It is written well and organized. I could not put this book down. The setting of each scene is descriptive and easy to visualize, including the steamy scenes. I had no problems picturing myself in the story. I highly recommend this book as well as the series. It is an excellent read!

It would seem after Mountains Climbed that Sarah and James finally have their act together. They have found their Happily Ever After and life has moved forward a bit. However, there were promises made that must now be fulfilled and while they are technically in a poly relationship, they haven't seemed to have fulfilled that part of themselves since they committed to each other. As open as they seem to be, there seems to be something missing in their relationship. These two will have more mountains to climb before they can finally have there Happily Ever After. James in particular may have some more growing up to do (he kind of drove me crazy but in the end, he stepped up).

Mountains Loved by Phoebe Alexander a five-star read that you will love. This is number three in the Mountains series and I would wholly recommend you read them in order as these first three novels all cover Sarah and James story and it’s a powerful story that needs to be consumed. James and Sarah have truly climbed mountains for their love, but mountains can be dangerous much like love, and you may climb up safely, but you don’t always make it down safely. This is a compelling drama and James and Sarah each tell their own story, its one that is difficult and honest but its also very real. Do not miss this story, you need to get this story and series in your life.

Mountains Loved is the third book in the Mountains series by Phoebe Alexander. This series should be read in order as the build on each other. You will miss out on Sarah and James’ backstory, if you haven’t read the first two books. I am really hooked on this series. The characters are true to life, the chemistry is palpable and the emotions were on a roller coaster. I was ready to throw my kindle across the room a few times. This is my favorite book of the series, but I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of the books. I highly recommend this book, series and author.
