Everyone has a past. Some, good. Some, not so good...

Abby, the mysterious new girl in town, wants nothing more than to forget hers. Left scared and beaten by the painful shards of her broken dreams, Abby wants nothing more than to crawl into a hole, and find peace. And possibly, just possibly, find some sense of “normal” once again.

All that gets turned into a frenzy however, when she attracts the attention of the local hero, Eli Waiters. A man with striking features, and a heart of gold, all of which Abby wants nothing to do with. Though he won't let her go that easy. Not without a fight.

But Eli has past scares too...

Both broken. Both crying out for direction, and the sense of belonging to something greater than just themselves, they find each other...

... because everyone deserves a second chance.

Enjoyed but..

I thought the premise of the story was good, though it loosely reminded me of Safe Haven, but that didn't keep me from enjoying the book. It's a good quick read, think it took me about two hours.

To the author, I enjoyed your book, but I think it could use a little more editing. There are a few places where I noticed you started to write something the changed to something else. There was also one instance were you called Molly Melody. Look forward to reading more of your books.
