I love the hierarchy in their dynamic

Graves>Maeve>Sammy

Overall, I loved their characters and their dynamic with each other but would’ve loved to see them in action in a different plot. The climax fell flat and everything felt inconclusive and dissatisfying for me. Also I felt like every time Graves and Maeve were getting down to do stuff, it felt like Hayes was pushed to the background. The sexy smut times didn’t really feel really cohesive with each other.

I loved seing an alpha female and would’ve loved it more if we got her dominating Hayes more instead of just making him eat her out. Instead we got this ‘fight’ for dominance between Graves and Maeve where it wasn’t really a fight. Graves used his rank as a unit leader and gave an order and Maeve made a pouty face, said a mean thing and then obeyed. Was there really any fighting? Not in my opinion.

If i was the alpha in Maeve’s shoes, when Graves gave me a smirking order, i’d be way more angry and challenge him and prove that he is the stronger alpha.

Meh. Overall it was written well and I enjoyed it but desperately wanted more out of it.

This was nice but I also felt as if there was no plot? There was no backstory, and no real depth. Yes we got Nolan's backstory with his unit but other than that? Nothing, nothing about Sammy(other than 'he's a southern boy whose mom raised him to be a gentleman (on that note we have nothing about their families at all!), nothing about Maeve.
Also I'm like 60/70% sure ai was involved in writing this cuz come on the cover says it clearly and Nolan saying his sister's name wrong? Really?

I love military romance books, add in omegaverse and it’s my favorite things combined!!💕💕💕🫡 why choose with a grumpy commander alpha, an alpha badass woman, and a sunshine farmer boy beta. Going through the Spector training camp is hard enough, but when one of your instructors are trying to make you quit or push you out it makes your life harder. Too bad he’s trying to push you out to keep you safe, because soon his feeling for her will tip over into possessive “mine” territory and you’ll end up with a pack of your own! This is the first book with a female alpha as a FMC and the whole anchoring thing was new and interesting! This was giving ‘Mariposa’ meets KM Morovana’s books and I’m here for it!

I need more!!!!

I was not expecting this book to be this good!!!
I love the dynamics of the main characters and their personalities.
I usually have a hard time reading strong FMC books because lots of author make a whine one instead of actually strong. This was not the case.

There were many times where I was fanning myself and giggling like a teen because these MMC were so hot and manly!

I just need more of them! I hope there's another book coming or the stories of the other units.
I also found out there's more books in the same universe so I'll definitely be reading them!

This is my first book of this author and I am pleasantly surprised! ♡

More people need to call ai out when they see it, especially in books. This was definitely written with ai. NO character or plot development and the worst spice scenes I’ve ever read (seriously wtf was that!). You’ll also notice that this author has put out multiple books this year alone, which would be pretty difficult for an author actually writing their own books and going through the editing processes.

I loooveee omegaverse and it’s already difficult finding good books in this genre sometimes. Authors who use ai like this only cheapen the genre and the reading experience. Please DON’T waste your time on this book!

Spector Bred

Honestly, not what I was expecting! I enjoyed the story, and the characters! The story deals with a few heavy themes and the characters were flawed, a little over the top but it’s alphas so we expect some dramatics. My favourite aspect of this was the world building, the military Spector units, and the dynamics between the main characters. Really good story. I’d read more of this series.

This was my first book like this. Omegaverse, why choose, AHHHHH. I always said I wouldn’t read a why choose because I didn’t think it would be my thing, but I LOVED Graves and Sammy so much for Maeve. They were both good for her, they both stole my heart with their very different personalities.
