The idea was really good, firefighter saved by a nursing student and is looking for her for two years.
But then they find each other again (in the beginning of the book already) and it goes downhill from here. No stopping either.
It was boring and the gang trouble with little brother you can see from the beginning, but to have some unexpected drama in this book (anything that might touch your feelings at all) the author is letting Ian die. Sorry if I am messing the story up for anyone, but this was just simply put in the plot as shock value.
The writing was grammatically perfect but really boring. Is this what an AI-augmented story looks like? I wouldn't know, but could imagine.
So I finished it (with a lot of trouble) and it wasn't good. I am not going to read anything from this author again.

This will fill and break your heart
What a book in the latest series.
But honestly will fill your heart and break your heart.
This book shows you, you can do everything right and it doesnt necessarily mean anything.
Shes a nurse trying to work a job and rain her brother. He is the firefighter she saved 2 years ago and hes been looking for her ever since.
Get to see all our characters again from the first book. The banter as ever is giving...
Book quote:
"You fight fires for a living and a spicy chicken tender is where you draw the line?"

Uh the writing style was honestly a huge turnoff for me. It just felt... soulless?
The plot was ok, but I could predict pretty much everything that was going to happen. And for a firefighter romance, I was really expecting at least ONE good twist or some kind of “wait WHAT” moment toward the end. Nope. Nothing.
The whole thing just felt kind of hollow. I wanted more emotion, more depth, literally anything that would make the story stick with me after I finished it.

I just finished this book. It felt like the writing quality was slowly degrading as the chapters went by. I could hardly feel any emotions in their conversations. Sorry but this just wasn't it!
