Good ending to a great series

If you have read the previous 7 novels then you know what this series is about. No spoilers here, everything will be explained as long as you read this book. Great action, great pace, good use of science and sci-fi. Ok, one spoiler.... This book ends the series with good closure, however enough of an opening is left to continue books in this universe if Mr. Presser chooses to do so.
