This is book thirty-seven of an 80 part series. Please start at book one, and enjoy the journey.
Morgan spends some much needed time in New Orleans with a special man, but at what cost? Her next stop, North Carolina. Jeremy doesn't meet her at the airport, and she quickly discovers his reason. Morgan has a thought of leaving the coast behind, but has a change of heart when another friend convinces her to stay. Morgan Holland is on a bumpy ride, where she has to combine friendship, kindess, and a bit of deception to get through her week. Frienships are everything, and Morgan is reminded of that fact as she plans her next move. Home.
This one definitely put things back on track after the somewhat disappointment I had at the end of the last installment. Finlay makes a bit of an ass of himself chasing after Morgan, but I was really happy to see her put BOTH men in their place regarding assumptions they had. I was happy to see Morgan set some boundaries instead of always being coerced into spending time with jealous dudes.
After her week off, Morgan heads to North Carolina and encounters one of her worst clients, for a reason much different from Carlos. Jeremy - “Mr Fuller” - apparently decided that hiring a call girl to be a stand-in girlfriend to help seal a business deal was better than having his actual girlfriend or the assistant he’s banging. Thankfully, Morgan has learned a lot from her adventures thus far and manages to make the most of the situation while also learning about the real estate deal being made. I really enjoyed that part of the story. It was a creative twist and really showcased Morgan’s resourcefulness and determination. She also gets to spend more time with Damon, her client from Louisiana, which isn’t a bad thing.
The setup for the next book is intriguing, looking forward to seeing what’s next for Morgan!
Morgan spends time with Finlay on a break week still in New Orleans. Then she travels to North Carolina to meet Jeremy. He is unlike any of her other clients, and a real jerk!! Morgan decides that she's not going to let him and his assistant dictate her life, so she invites Damon to stay with her. Two timing a client? Well, not really. Authors -- please proofread your books!!!
Another instalment and another adventure only this one doesn't exactly go to plan for Morgan but with a delicious mix of Finlay and Damon, however, all is not lost as Morgan tries to find a way to survive Jeremy and his determination to use her to close a corrupt business deal.
We get to spend quite a bit of time with Finlay in this book and it looks like more is to come as Morgan heads home for the first time in a while but just what will she find there?
Despite this being a long running series, I am still thoroughly enjoying it and all it has to offer. Morgan becomes part of your soul after the first few books and you can't help but love her.
Morgan continues her adventures in the states by heading to North Carolina and is in for a rude awakening with her newest client, Jeremy Fuller. Morgan does something during this job that she has never done before, but all for obvious reasons. As always, Becky and Brandi give us another chapter in Morgan's life that has us wondering what is in store for her this time. One thing that we can be sure of is, that we will most certainly be entertained and will definitely have our share of laughs!
As always I love Morgan. she has a heart of gold. Love that she spent time with Finley and was able to spend more time with Damon. I was not happy with Jeremy, his story just was not interesting but I'm glad he got what he deserves. Looking forward to the next book. My favorite part was Finley on the roof Lol!!! Too funny.
They did it again. Becky and Brandi always keep you on your toes in this series. Loved the book love how Morgan handled the situation she was in. I cannot wait to see what happens next
Fook!!!!!! I am already jonesing for book 38. I love how Morgan got to Jeremy and Andrea in this one. Of course Finlay, Angel are a Hoot! Damon is really a sweet man for giving something her Gran would have loved. Oh Fin!, can't wait to see how you and Angel do in Ohio.
Each book has great humor, great steamy sex, and always some twisted plot that she has gotten herself into some mess or other. S h e incorporates all her favorite men into her life. I just love these books and hate waiting for the next one to come out.
As always I fell in love with this book, I believe I do it with everyone of them in this series! Enough said! READ IT!!! This series is truly becoming my #1 (:
