Kelly Rossi’s Dating the Wrong Men: The Misadventurer’s Guide through Bad Relationship Choices, a fresh, entertaining, and comically written memoir filled with invaluable life and dating lessons. Now happily-married, author Kelly Rossi uses her own inspirational story to walk you through ‘Wrong Man’ personality types that are all-too-familiar in the current dating environment complete with the bulleted signs that you might be in the same situation and advice to get through it. Unlike most books in the dating space, this book is refreshing, free from belittling, and empowering to those who read it. This is a true guide to love and romance for women working to find their prince in a pond of frogs.
“This isn’t another book by an overly confident man psychoanalyzing everything you’re doing wrong, giving you that supposed ‘turn-key’ answer he’s created,” says Rossi. “This is a love story for any woman who has caught herself overanalyzing, making excuses, giving second chances, interpreting text messages, waiting for someone special, or even swearing off love forever.”
Written in a truly unique way, Rossi narrates her struggles in the quest to finding love and fulfillment, while learning how to avoid the pitfalls in today’s selfish, male-ego driven society. Readers will laugh and cry as they venture through Rossi’s relatable adventures as she takes you through every outrageous relationship - from the ‘freeloader’ to ‘player’. For the women who constantly find themselves in the cycle of always dating and trying to find Mr. Right, this one-of-a-kind memoir will teach you how to break your frog-kissing habits, find a love you never knew existed, and learn how to hang onto your self-worth, dignity, and sanity!
Identify with each “Wrong Man” story. Use it as a reference guide with "Signs You're Dating a ... " at the end of each "Wrong Man" chapter. Discover how a serial "Wrong Man" dater breaks the cycle of bad relationships and finds the 'Right' partner. Find and maintain your dignity and self-worth in any "Wrong Man" situation. “This is the often poignant but ultimately uplifting story of one girl's struggle to find the right man by dating all the wrong ones. If you're looking for love and fulfillment and need to know how to avoid the pitfalls, this engaging and often hilarious book is for you -- or for your daughters! You can't do better than to let Kelly Rossi be your guide to a lasting, loving relationship.”

I received this book last week from the post office and I was very excited to read it. Dating the Wrong Men is basically a book for women who always ends up dating the wrong men. What this book is different from all the other self-help books out there is that this book has a personal touch.
Don't you just hate it when you're reading a self-help book when all the terms are very scientific and critical that you need to have a dictionary in hand just to understand the words that are being said? Well that will never be a problem when you're reading this book.
With every type of wrong men featured in this book, the author has her own experience she shares with the readers that make reading this book similar to talking to a friend. She shares experiences with her, you share some that you feel is related to her and that helps getting advice easier.
Another thing that I liked about this book was the honesty from the author. She didn't hide anything from the readers with how she wrote her experiences and that for me was what made this book spectacular.
This book was really great and Kelly Rossi was such an inspiration that this book deserves five stars.
received physical copy from author in exchange for an honest review
The book, Dating the Wrong Men is captivating, funny, sad, and fabulous, but more importantly filled with important life lessons that we as women face on our own search in finding Mr. Right. I commend and applaud Kelly Rossi, for having the courage to talk about her misadventures in dating. Readers can relate through her stories, with their own experiences and emotions in finding Prince Charming. Honestly, I think that it is comforting first and foremost, that as women we, are not alone knowing that other women have gone through some of the same if not similar issues that we have all faced with dating.
I would like to thank Kelly Rossi for sending me a paperback copy of this book. I read it and it was like there were so many things that I could say that happened to me and I know what you mean. This book has a lot of truth to it. Unfortunately, there is no perect dating, loving, marrying or even parenting books. We learn as we go and its different for everyone. This was a nice read from beginning to end.
This book is fun to read. Kelly Rossi shares her dating experiences, and I believe both men and women can relate through her stories. I talked to a few girl friends about this book and told them this book is a must-read. I received a complimentary copy from the Goodreads First-reads program. Thanks for the super speedy shipment. 3 days and I got this book!
This is a self help book to help women land a man. The author dated a whole lot of men, and all but one of them were the wrong person. She tries to learn something from each of them. Lots of humorous anecdotes, but really makes arranged marriages seem much more attractive.
Good advice for the dating world as a whole but lacked a good editor
I have pretty high standards when it comes to dating so most of the men and dating scenarios mentioned in this book do not apply to me. However, with a marriage to a wrong man behind me, i could still relate to the author’s struggles, mistakes, and lack of self-worth. The dating stories were interesting and heartbreaking so I especially loved the last story where she found Mr. Right. I wish that chapter would have been longer. My reason for the two star rating is because this book needed an editor. Tons of spelling and sentence structure mistakes. It was distracting.
It was fairly entertaining and Rossi does have some well written 'pearls of wisdom' regarding dating throughout her stories. However, I kept wanting more from each story. It just seemed like there could have been so much more.
I received this book as a giveaway and it was great. Through her experiences she helps women understand that they're not alone. I've sadly related to a lot of the 'wrong men' featured in this book but it was good to see I'm not alone. Overall, worth a read
Kelly Rossi writes this book about her own experiences in dating men…the wrong kind of men. She opens the book by talking about her parents marriage and the fact that she didn’t really know what a loving relationship looks like. From there she moves on to many of her real life dating stories. This isn’t a traditional dating book. Each chapter tells the story about a guy she dated. At the end of each chapter are signs that you are dating this certain type of man and final thoughts on that type of man. In other chapters she tells about her experiences and then gives resources on how to get help if you are in a similar situation. From funny and good humor to sad and even scary, I felt like I was Kelly’s friend listening to her share her dating adventures with me. As Kelly learned life lesson via the men she was dating, the readers learn them right along with her. I also appreciated the honesty of the author in telling her stories. She didn’t hold anything back which I found refreshing.
Kelly Rossi’s Dating the Wrong Men: The Misadventurer’s Guide through Bad Relationship Choices is lots of fun and it is full of good humor. Written from Kelly's own life experiences as a memoir, the book is filled with life and dating lessons that we, women, can benefit from... :)
You will laugh to tears but also cry as the author unravels her struggles and her adventures in a male-ego driven society. As she takes you through relationship after relationship - from the ‘freeloader’ to the ‘player’, by the end of the book you will learn how to keep your sanity and dignity in this crazy world! I highly recommend it!!
Fabulous book and a very easy read. As you go through the stories, you can definitely relate personally whether it's a similar person you've had in your life or even just emotions you've had about people or even yourself. I think it's comforting to know that others go through the same thing! I think the book can help see your relationships in a different light and make you realize that you deserve your Prince or Princess Charming. So happy that Kelly wound up finding the Right man in the end!
