When Jake Harrigan and his partner Sarah are recommended by the President to check the security on a new, state-of-the-art gambling ship being launched in Miami by one of the President's billionaire friends, they have no idea what lies ahead.
Roberto Palenti, a Cuban billionaire and drug dealer, is a major competitor in the gambling ship business and he has his own agenda for stopping the successful launch of the new ship.
One of Jake's staff overhears the Cuban planning a deadly attack on the new ship, but he only hears part of the plan. However, knowing of a possible attack is one thing, but not knowing when, where or how it will happen is Jake's problem, since the President himself will be at the launch ceremony and over fifteen hundred innocent passengers will be at risk during the maiden voyage of the new ship.
With time running out, Jake and Sarah get sucked into the world of gambling and drugs in Florida and Central America, as they try to avert what could be a major, world-shattering event.
