My pack’s Alpha wants my baby dead…
Now I’m running for my life through the snow.
Yesterday, he told me the baby was wasting me away and ordered me to get rid of it.
Tonight, I squeezed through a gap in the compound fence and fled into the woods.
I ran until my foot caught on a root, and I hit the snow hard… then everything went dark.

Bonded is a fictional paranormal book by Lucy Thorne.
Selene and her brother Theo are taken by a wolf pack after the pack murders their father. They’re treated badly as servants and try to stay invisible. They have a secret their father strongly taught them to keep hidden.
I liked Selene okay. She was a great big sister and did everything she could to look after her brother. I didn’t care for how she treated Kane on their first encounter, although I do understand her circumstances at the time, plus it was necessary for the story to progress as it did. I really didn’t like how Selene acted around Alexander. Her personality changed in a day, and I felt it would have been more believable to have been more cautious especially considering his reputation. Plus, I really only like there being two main characters, not a third.
I absolutely adored Kane. He was great the first time he met Selene and he was totally swoon worthy when he saved her the second time they meet. He was so careful and made it clear he would not push and was a perfect man in every way.
The story is told in both parties’ POVs and has a happy ending.

Quick easy shifter fated mate. Overall a good story but not much relationship building or personal conversations between the FMC & MmC. Difficult to feel invested in the couple with lack of connection.

Better than most .
A very active story line with well written characters . Yes a HEA but expected in the end . Not overly sexed up so everything fits nicely. An overall enjoyable read .

Intriguing
This is an interesting and intriguing love story about Kane & Selene. The characters are engaging and the plot interesting. The ending was especially heartwarming.
