After training with the Irish Special Forces, Niall's father sends him to New York City to be a bodyguard for Mr. Pierce.
One night he sees a beautiful woman with a man she clearly is afraid of. Niall can't get her out of his thoughts. He sees her again and they begin a courtship that deepens. I have to say I am a paranormal romance kinda gal.And did not know how I would like reading just a suspenseful romance book.But OMG I must say I truly enjoyed it.Niall the main guy,can I please have him.The things he does for his woman is nice.Don`t want to give any spoilers away.Now most stories rather it be a book,movie or TV show I have the ending and the who did it figured out.Not in Broken Lies it just kept me guessing until the end.It is really balanced with romance,suspense,and action.So it looks like I can no longer say I am a paranormal romance kinda girl.BUY THIS BOOK!

Wow! Sharon has done it again! The characters come alive right off the pages. Love how Naill sacrifices for the woman he loves. I think I have found me a new book boyfriend! Excellent and well put together. Will definitely read more of your books Sharon! Highly recommend.

Wow! this author has come a long way. this story is full of suspense, mystery and romance. i usually don't read this type of book but when I saw it was from this author I took a chance and I'm glad I did! I could not put this one down.

Niall Kerrigan was trained in the Irish Special Forces but has now become a bodyguard to Andrew Pierce due to an arrangement made by his father. When Niall meets Abby he decides he no longer wants a dangerous job and decides to quit.

When Abby is taken due to him quitting his job, Niall must quickly figure out who he can trust. As he learns about his own past he realizes that things are not the way they look at all.

I enjoyed the book but found I didn't get as attached to some of the characters as I would have liked. It was still a good story that I enjoyed.

I obtained this free e-book from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing a review. I just hate it when the book cover is better than the book as is this case. This is supposed to be about a man that was in the Irish Special Forces and is now working as a bodyguard but comes across as more of a talker and letting others do all the work. The female character is a despicable user of people, ungrateful, blame laying waste.

Very suspenseful with a good romance.

I like Abby and Niall. They each find love unexpectedly. After Abby is abducted, Niall finds himself in the middle of an old feud. I like the chemistry between Abby and Niall. The suspense is built up well. I like the action and The twists in the story.

This was a DNF. I struggled with this book. I just could not get into it. The dude is suppose to be Special Forces but it didn't feel that way. Then there was the insta-love. Which had me rolling my eyes. The parts that I read and didn't skim through were just boring and blah. Not my cup of tea.

First I would like to say thanks Sharon Coady for a chance to read your book. Second I want to say when I set down to read the book I really enjoyed it... There was a lot of action and some sexy scenes too. That being said good story... Until next time......
