THIS IS A COMPLETE STANDALONE BOOK. NO CLIFFHANGERS
No one ever told her it would be this hard Isabel Bishop took over her mother’s boarding house after her death and it was all she ever wanted. But not everything is as easy as her mother made it. Tenants are few and far between, and keeping the already old Victorian alive and thriving turns out to be harder than she expected.
Anyone else would have turned him away Wesley Raeburn needs a place to stay— nothing too fancy or conspicuous, just a safe place to live that’s out of the bustle of the busy city. Riding with the Devil Dogs has its perks but having a label and running with a crew isn’t exactly what the reclusive Wesley is about.
They say, curiosity killed the cat… Usually, Isabel has a strict don’t-ask policy with her tenants—one that comes with needing money and not getting it often. But this new, handsome, quiet tenant sparks a curiosity in Isabel that she doesn’t think can be quelled. The only problem is if she likes what she finds…
Evelyn Glass is one of the best writers of MCRomance
I have read several of her books and have never been disappointed. Her books always have imaginative plotlines and her characters always have a lot of depth. This book is no exception. Wesley and Isabel are so believable they feel real.
Isabel and Wesley meet under suspicious circumstances when he shows up to rent a room from her B&B. Great story-line.. fall in love with the characters. A great author whom I will definitely read again..
couldn't get past the 1st chapter. Writing is in past tense then present. Author jumps from prologue to present then goes back in a memory that takes FOREVER to get through. Urgh just too boring
