I found the book interesting as a quick read into our prison system.

I wasn't exactly clear on what was the important take home message. It skipped around a bit non sequentially on different issues in the various prisons. It gave logical hints for dealing with bullying, sex, etc. But, these were superficial and if I were arrested, I'm not sure how useful the book would be in keeping me safe to fit in.

Insightful

For someone with no prison experience but curious because I have a loved one in Fed prison, this was insightful. Very quick and easy read
