Gebed is niet voorbehouden aan slechts een handjevol geroepenen met een specifieke gebedsbediening, maar Gods verlangen voor iedereen die Hem van harte liefheeft.

Het is met recht een 'werk'woord, en vraagt erom in de praktijk te worden gebracht. Maar hoe doe je dat dan: bidden? En: waar gaat het bij bidden eigenlijk om?

I got this book when I needed it most, I’m glad I read it, it has been a major blessing.

Took a while to get used to David’s writing style but the experience was worth it. I learnt a lot & would encourage you to read it too if you want to learn something new about prayer or have the lessons you already have reinforced.

Another wonderful, well-written and insightful books by Mr. Pawson. A must-read for every Christian no matter how short or long you've been one. Churches fail to teach this today. I have been to many as I moved all over the country and prayer is missing in so many churches, or what they do have is a poor imitation of what we see in the OT and NT. This will challenge you and make you think. Above all, it will rekindle the desire to pray and to pray with the kind we read in the Bible. This is a key component to our everyday walk, evangelism, and understanding the power behind prayer and how to make it effective.
