Cora has no choice but to join her friend when she’s determined to go to the local MC club to get laid. Cora’s not the settling down type, and hates dating. Enter a scarred biker, and Cora’s changing her beliefs.
James is the founder and president of the club. With his scarred face, he’s used to being passed over for his brother. But when Cora enters the club, James has to have her.
The adventures of the MC—and James—are about to be brought to light. Can Cora handle the heat? Will James convince his woman that being his old lady is the best decision she’ll ever make?
Sam Crescent is passionate about fiction. She loves a good erotic romance and so it only made sense for her to spread her wings and start writing. She began writing in 2009 and finally got that first acceptance in 2011 by Total-E-Bound. She loved creating new characters and delving into the worlds that she creates. When she’s not panicking about a story or arguing with a character, she can be found in her kitchen creating all kinds of havoc. Like her stories the creations in the kitchen can be just as dubious but sometimes things turn out great.
There were so many things in this book that I normally would hate. For some reason it didn't bother me in this book. This life worked for this couple and none of the things that happened hurt either of them. They were totally perfect for each other.
This is the first book in the Dirty Fuckers MC series by Jenika Snow. James is 30 years old, the President of the Dirty Fuckers MC and five years ago after constantly being on the road the MC set up roots in Greater Falls. He has a brother named Pixie who is also a member of the MC. James is used to being passed over by women in favor of his brother because James has a scar down the side of his face from a fight. Cora is 30 years old, and she works as a secretary to the principle at the local high school. She is independent, outgoing and because of her blonde, curly hair and girly dresses men always assume she is sweet and innocent. That couldn't be further from the truth, in reality Cora is a confident woman who loves loves rough, kinky sex. Her BFF, Stacey drags her to the DFMC clubhouse and she meets Pixie first but James is the one who gets her panties wet. I liked this book but I wasn't too crazy about Cora, I think she was kind of cold but I did love James he was a hottie. I enjoyed the other MC members as well and look forward to reading their stories.
I tried ya'll, I really really did. I just can't deal with this heroine. I like strong female characters but I don't like when they are so very in your face with their sexuality. I'm glad she knows what she wants but I like my heroines to be a bit more lady like and proper (be a freak in the bed dear but act like a lady in public). And dear God...her mouth was as bad as the guys. I found the Hero, who is the Prez of the MC, to be much more respectful and likable.
New Series by Sam Crescent one of my favorite authors.
Bad to the Bone is a great beginning of a new series. I can't wait to read what stories lay ahead for the other characters introduced in Bad to the Bone.
I usually love Sam Crescents MC books and while this one was okay, in my opinion not up to par with others. I say this because the characters seemed flat. Both the main characters don't do relationships but fall right into one. It just seemed a bit fake. While I did like Cora and her seemingly innocent look but she is far from it. Because she finds out James likes to get it on in front of his biker brothers and have menages with them as well, she just shows up and does this for him and then later with another biker brother. The more I think about it, the worse my feelings for this book becomes. It is rare for me to give a 3 star review because I know the authors work hard and just because I don't like it I hate to turn others off from reading this book. So just because these are my feelings on this book, they may not be yours after reading. I will continue to buy and read the authors books because this is truly the first time I felt this way after reading their books.
Eh. It was tamer than I’d thought it would be based on the title and the blurb. While the MC’s were likable they weren’t to my taste. The reasoning behind the not getting married was so absurd it would be laughable if I had found it funny. I didn’t. There was a lot of talk of free kink but next to no real kink between this couple to speak of. There was also no real plot. Just two leads with stupid ideas on relationships slowly finding their way together. Besides the very lame banter between them in the beginning it wasn’t all that bad a book. Just not a good book. It left me bored and with no desire to read the rest of the series. It was a fail for me but doesn’t warrant lower stars. Someone else would be fine with this story, obviously not me.
Cora is forced to accompany her friend to a MC party since she refuses to go without her.
This is a club where certain proclivities can be exercised without judgement. Nothing is forbidden...there are rooms designed for different levels of ‘interests’.
The President (James, 40) sees his brother Pixie escorting Cora (30) into the room and Pixie arrogantly assumes his irresistibility will lure Cora to him. Cora has certain predilection and overhears their conversation, which she quickly dismisses and exits the club...but not before ensuring Stacey’s safety before leaving.
Two people that look completely different but are actually made for one another. James the President of the MC and Cora the school secretary that looks all innocent. However, she loves sex, the dirtier the better and neither of them believe in marriage.
I knew it was gonna be cheap. I knew it was gonna be trite. I knew it was gonna be wasted.
You know, like, "dirty fuckers mc". really, is this all you can call? wat da fuck is the dirty fuckers for fuck sake.
i just wanted to spend one of my infamous cant-sleep-need-shorties night. what i didnt know is, that it was gonna be 1 fucking star.
"SHARING"
S H A R I N G
" S H A R I N G " you don't have to write corrupt to be dirty, naughty or wicked. polygamy is a thing but if there is no connection between bodies, souls or minds dat is a different thing. some kind of sick joke 4 my opinion. i'm not against couple who love share. even I like to read or watch their feelings and thoughts. but not THIS.
i apologize from all my biker book-husbands.
over and above, that cover... *vomiting* xoxoxo iko
I love a good mummy porn book especially with a good storyline as well. Not your typical bad alpha book but a lovable read. Can I order me one prez...... Thanks
Bad to the Bone is the first book in DFMC series its dirty, sexy and raw. James is Pres and Cora will be his "old lady". Cora is not want you expect her to be..she may look and talk prim and proper but she loves to get down and dirty. Cora has been looking for a man who loves to get down and dirty without giving eachother sweet words or empty promises. She wants someone who will take control but also give her control in the bedroom. She will not change for anyone. James is all about getting down and dirty. Most woman will over look him, he is know for getting his brother Pixie's cast aways. Well Cora will be the exception she finds James sexy and he has everything she is looking for the evening at least. James and Cora start out just having fun but they learn to realize that luck struck gold when they meet. This is a dirty raw sexy story with lots of sex. DFMC owns a diner, a bar and a club... what happens in the backroom of the club stays in the backroom of the club. Cora has found people who enjoy what she likes and James is more than happy to fulfill her needs. We are introduced to the main characters as well as getting a background on the men of DFMC. The storyline isnt much but Crescent keeps your interest from beginning to end. If you are looking for a dirty story without the angst this is for you. Happy Reading!!
It was entertaining. It’s funny (because of how unrealistic it was) and sort of romantic (who woulda thought? I didn’t)
I bursted out laughing when she tried to initimidate one of the bikers at the front door of the club. I like Cora and James. Cora is wild, although she may not look like that. She is also kind and caring. Lovely woman. Though, i do not understand her apprehension towards marriage when she talked about her parents. I mean, that would have happened with or without marriage.
James is the Prez for a reason and he sounds hot. I love the take charge attitude he’s got and the sharing bit was hot too. He’s very sweet (if you can call him that) But that’s about it I think. He doesn’t stand out as a character for me, or as a man as well. However, it’s not that much of a con. Overall, its just heart warming to see people come together and realise love can sneak up on you, no matter who you are.
One thing i did not like was that there was no sort of introduction into the world. I mean, i would have loved to get to know everyone in a proper way and not have to feel as if something was missing. Other than that, it was entertaining to read.
Let me say I usually LOVE Sam Crescent. But this seems like it was written by someone else. The story is stilted like someone is trying to tell a story that was told to them. A 40 yr old biker acting like an adolescent. They plot who has sex first then the other one takes the leftovers? She has sex with someone else because it makes him happy? What kind of man wants to share the woman he loves, he says she is it for him but he's willing to have her sleep with another man in a threesome or while he watches. Cora seems to have a good head on her shoulders she should have sent him packing not getting with someone who is childish and odd. I don't know but the story was hard to read. The grammar was all over the place, This could be a really great story if rewritten and edited. I would be willing to read a well-edited story of it. This is so unusual for Sam. I see the 5-star reviews and wonder what they read. But like I said it's a good story line and I hope to see it redone in future :)
...and this is why I dont buy or read books with so few pages!
The book is 120 pages for 3.45 way over priced . If Sam wants us to read her short stories she'd be better putting them in ku.
I'm not gonna be wasting my money on these novellas. Sorry a book less than 200 pages is a novellas to me.
Because the book is so short the story was rushed like on ff. There was no character development, no storyline other than a woman who within weeks of meeting a biker strips off n fucks him in front of his brothers and has a menage with a brother for him. Yeah right, totally believable.
Cora is frankly annoying, shes too good to be true, too perfect, too trite. James is too soft, too insta love too girly. Too boring.
The whole book is just about them having sex. Which I don't mind if we also have great characters n plot. We don't in this. Its just written porn. There's no story.
This was a very enjoyable read. Would’ve read it straight through had I not worked today. That being said, the heroine was a little too bad ass for my taste. Just wasn’t quite believable. Too much talk and not a lot of opportunity for her to actually act it out. There was also like absolutely no climax in the book. Well that’s a bad word choice because while the two main characters had plenty of climaxes throughout this book there were no fights or issues or really anything in this book. It was probably the most normal thing I’ve read in a while. Didn’t make it terrible though. I still enjoyed the whole thing.
If you've read a lot of MC romances, you get to a point that you have favorites. There are just certain authors that write books that you will automatically purchase. Sam Crescent is one of those authors for me. Her Dirty F*ckers MC begins with Cora and James. If you've read her other MC series', this one is a little bit different because they truly live up to their name. I loved the premise of the story and while there are certain things I wouldn't normally like---it didn't bother me here! That's just the type of writer Sam happens to be for this reader. Loved this book and the rest of the series! Glad to have re-read this again!
I read tons and tons of MC books by so many different authors. No there wasn’t any chaos for them to overcome. But come on, EVERY MC romance book has chaos and drama and it honestly gets old. It’s like reading a similar story by a different author. But this one was great. It was completely different than most books. It’s focus is the growth of a relationship, centered on them. I personally LOVED that. It was honestly a breath of fresh air. I recommend it.
I enjoyed the story and LOVED that she not only passed up PrettyBoy Pixie for the “Scarred” James, she put him(Pixie) in his place😆 also when the MC Boys kept the PokerTable stable when Cora was reminding James be real with her as she doesn’t need to be shielded from his likes😈🔥🔥🔥😈 (my own 2cents: she is a lil’too cocky, but seems to suit her well, until people have enough or she crosses a line…as it’s not her MC) I’ve re-read this series a few times, I enjoy it💋

New series for me It started of different from the normal stuff from this author But I did end up enjoying it a lot! Cora is a strong confident heroine and I liked that change! James is a lovable hero that grows on you. I love their feelings and understanding between each other!
I liked the hero, although I thought he was a little soft to be a MC Prez, but I love a hardcore biker. I did not like the heroine she was just a lot in your face for me. Really not a love story more a friends with benefits story. Not sure if I will read the rest of the series as non of the secondary characters really made me want to read their story.
