I’m so excited to get into season 2 of Ghostlight Falls, and Santa’s Baby was a really fun first visit back to this world! This season takes us into winter in Ghostlight Falls, and our first stop is with Thaddeus, Santa’s brother, and Jack Frost. These two have a history together, having been romantically involved before Thaddeus chose to prioritise Christmas and his ambitions over their relationship. The breakup left Thaddeus grumpy and alone, and what makes it even more frustrating for him is that, despite all the hard work and sacrifice, he didn’t even become Santa — that role went to his brother Chris.

I really enjoyed watching Thaddeus and Frost find their way back to each other. There’s plenty of spice once they reconcile, but underneath that is a story about two people dealing with the hurt and trauma from their past and working through it together. I liked that their relationship wasn’t simply reset because they were fated to be together; they actually had to confront what happened between them and decide what they wanted moving forward.

One of my favourite things about this novella was the lore Nicole Parker manages to build around Jack Frost in such a short space. The idea that Frost’s neglect and heartbreak caused him to literally begin fading away was such an interesting twist on the traditional Jack Frost mythology. I also loved the magical element that brought him back and the way it tied into his story.

It was also lovely to read an MM romance as part of the Ghostlight Falls world. Thaddeus and Frost make a great couple to kick off this winter season, and I’m definitely looking forward to seeing where season 2 takes us next!

Overall, this was a spicy, magical and emotional start to the next Ghostlight Falls season, with some really fun Christmas and winter lore woven through it. I’m very ready for more Ghostlight Falls!

Will I ever be able to think of Jack Frost the same again… no, no I won’t. But listen I’m not mad about it!

This bratty and sassy version of Frost is wayyyy better!

And Thad, oh my heart… despite not being chosen by his family to lead the legacy, he still does all he can to bring the spirit of Christmas to Ghostlight Falls.

These two have a turbulent past… but this second chance is their real chance at their happily ever after!

It’s short. It’s spicy. It’s perfect!

this is an ARC review as part of the GLF Season Two ARC team This is a paranormal MM romance with lots of smut. Make sure you know what all that means before reading.

This was a cute second chance romance with a lot of smut. The premise was very fun as well. We have Frost and Thad, of course Frost is Jack Frost and Thad is a Kringle🫨

I love how this story explains the storm (I read them all out of order it fine) and also how this ties in with the Krampus story! I really loved seeing Thaddeus and Frost finally come together and admit that they have been in love with each other this whole time! Also the spice between these two was insane!

I received this book as an arc and I am leaving this review by choice.

This was the first book I have read by this author. I absolutely loved it. I don't read alot of mlm stories. I loved the banter between Jack Frost and Thaddeous though.

High spice, low angst plot, but connects into with previous books well. Really enjoyable second chance romance. No beating around the bush, physically they were never an issue, it was the emotional side they neglected. Nice quick read.
