WOW! What a wild ride.
Elena is the queen of the most romantic and merciless mafia romances.
Her books are not sweet, they are hard-edged and unfiltered.
This story is proof of that.
Murder, revenge and the though mafia life is the content of the story. She doesn't beautify the negative side of that life.
But she manages to make the story romantic and swoony, despite the constant presence of death and destruction.
Don't let me start about the erotic side of this book.
Scorching hot is too small word to describe it 😏🔥

One should actually hate and condemn Javier after reading this book, but his ideals and the loyalty to his family make him likeable even lovable.
He is a killer and unpredictable and despite this fact, amazing if comes to his loved ones.

Mariah is not like other female characters in the mafia romances. She grew up in this brutal world and is like everyone in the " family" dangerous and well trained to kill if necessary.
She is a badass woman who has been betrayed and disappointed in her life more than once, but she is a fighter and knows how to survive in this world.

I love this crazy, unpredictable and dangerous couple. They are definitely something else.
I recommend this book to all mafia romance lovers.

Si this book is on Javier and Mariah we got to see them make appearances in the other books specially malcoms to tell you the truth I was not really interested in getting to know there story but I’m glad we did it was really eye opening to get to know more about them get to understand them more better. This books just get more dark than the next I’m not really into books that let you know how they get rid of a person that hurts you or your loved ones but dang this books really let you know which I’m used to it and I don’t mind.

Mariah Is a very strong character her personality is very hard mean when she needs to be. And I really loved her she didn’t let anyone overstep with her she put people
In there place didn’t let anyone disrespect her any type of way. But just like everyone she has a softer side that she doesn’t show die to her family and than boyfriend abused and didn’t treat her right. She had slit of trouble letting Javier in due to everything her father did to her but she wasn’t alone she always had her cousin Malcolm to watch and protect her don’t get me wrong she knows how to protect herself just fine but even the strongest of people need someone to watch out for them. Javier was a good match for her he never let up on his chase for her neve let her push him away he understood when to give her space and when to push her. What bummed me was that Mariah never got to know javiers mom or even talk to her it would have been nice to have them briefly meet or even a phone call but anyways hope you guys live this new book it’s really good I totally recommend it.

Hands down my absolute favorite couple in the series! Javier with his nonchalant violence and Mariah with her quick wit and confidence. They were fire and ice, ice and fire, until they melted together into THE cutest couple ever.

I don’t know how Elena does it. Hot, alpha, violent, deadly, swoon-worthy men who find their perfect matches. But something about Javi and his Muñeca just resonated with me. Their banter, intensity, chemistry, connection just had me hooked from the start. So much passion. A slow burn, thrilling, unstoppable romance.

You know those heroines that are all wishy-washy and make your head swivel like a bobble doll?
Mariah is soooo NOT that.
She has got enough fire and fight for an entire army while at the same time she has the softness, the curves, and that hidden desire to be loved for who she is.
And Javier? He is the websters definition of the perfect example of a balance between cold-blooded killer and the perfect boyfriend.
No, I am not kidding.
He can be dissecting the enemy, covered in blood, and still pop that wink that makes a woman melt - Then moments later deliver her a tiramisu, Netflix, and chill evening.
Be still my beating heart.

This whole series is a perfectly blended mix of romance, suspense, and violence (yes there is graphic violence so if torture mayhem and crimson rivers is not your thing...)

This is the 4th book in this amazing series and is Javier and Mariah’s journey. Javier is a ruthless assassin for the mafia and when he tale a job with a different mafia head, he is instantly attracter to a feisty little spitfire Mariah, who is Marcus’ cousin. The attraction between them is tangible and undeniable, but will Javier let this in the way on his road to vengeance for his family? This is a well written story which is action packed and is an instant love and mafia romance. I was intrigued and hooked throughout and look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

Holy Javi and Mariah. I absolutely love this series. This book is just a good as the rest in the series. They meet with Javi comes to work for Malcolm. From there the story takes off. It’s a game of cat and mouse at first. Their chemistry is off the charts! And so is the steaminess levels!! Amazing read and great addition to the series.

The Quick and Dirty: Slow, high heat burn in the Chicago criminal world. Alpha male + strong female MC.

I am OBSESSED with this series. It has only gotten better with each new installment and this last one had me up until 3 reading it! While I’m usually too impatient for slow burns, this one was slow but high heat and well worth the wait. The web that the author weaves throughout each book keeps you turning pages to see what happens next. If you’ve read the other books, we’ve met these two characters before so knowing that I’d get their story in this book was so satisfying. I love the two of them and their banter. Mariah is no wilting violet and gives as good as she gets. Javier is the quintessential alpha male right-hand to the crime boss. LOVE LOVE LOVE these books. Did I mention that already? If you’re into criminal/dark romantic suspense, pick up this series. You can thank me later. 😉

Yours is the fourth interconnected standalone in the Beautiful Sinners Series by Elena M. Reyes and is told in dual POV's. This is Javier and Mariah's story. We first meet these characters in Sin, book one of the series and I was so excited to finally get their story from the beginning.
Once again Reyes stuns with one of the hottest covers ever but the story inside is even hotter.
Javier Lucas is a man with no soul. A cold blooded killer with no regrets for the lives he's taken. He has left his home in Colombia to become the right hand man for the ruthless King of Chicago Malcolm Asher. He never wanted more for himself, never imagined finding someone to share his life with. Until he meets the feisty Mariah. Sparks fly instantly and when the sassy little woman goes toe to toe with him, he knows his life will never be the same.
"She's poison and fire and I want nothing more than to be consumed by her."
Mariah Asher is not your typical crime family heroine. She grew up in the life, plays an active role in the business and is a force to be reckoned with in her own right. She has closed herself off emotionally after being betrayed by those closest to her. But one encounter with the cocky and demanding Javier has her feeling things she's never felt before.

This couple took my breath away. Every interaction between them flawlessly written and so full of emotion I couldn't get enough. The chemistry is scorching, the push and pull addicting, the banter witty and hilarious and the sex exquisitely erotic. I was blown away by the love scenes. So passionate, so naughty and so deliciously filthy even I blushed. It is smut at its finest yet still so sensual and wildly romantic.

Reyes exceeded every expectation I had of this book. She takes us on a journey through the dark and deadly Chicago crime world. A journey full of lies and betrayal, murder and revenge, love and lust and so much more. She gives us an unfiltered look at the perilous lives of the Asher and Lucas families and the violence they inflict on their enemies and blends it seamlessly with the emotional, heartfelt love story of Javier and Mariah. I was glued to every word on every page and I never wanted it to end!
Each book in this series gets better and better but this one has become my favorite! I've said it before and I'll keep on saying it, Elena M. Reyes writes THE BEST male POV I have ever read!

If there is one thing Elena M Reyes does well it’s bring the goddamn heat!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect when she explained that the next story in the series would be Javier’s and Mariah’s. They were already together in the other books and I just didn’t know how she’d be able to draw us in. Boy am I eating crow right now.

Yours tells the story of Javier Lucas (Cousin of Alejandro) and Mariah Asher (cousin of Malcolm Asher). Javier is a sexy, cold-bloodied, fearless, crazy alpha male. While Mariah is a beautiful, crazy alpha female who is love shy. From their first meeting they butt heads and get off on their combined craziness. Mariah makes Javi work extra hard to win her trust and her love. But when he finally does, it’s nothing but hot freaking lava. I literally had to take breaks reading their sex scenes because they were so damn good. The way he caters to her, and brick my brick crumbles her defenses had me so ready for the lovin’ because I knew it was going to be GOODT! Also, his pet name for her is so damn adorable (and if you want to know you’ll need to read the book to find out 😉).

All of Elena’s H’s have such strong personalities and are honestly so crazy that I am always nervous as she writes a new characters story. I’ve wonder how she can continue to create these dominant, cold-blooded, alpha males who are fearless without diminishing the character/power of the others (i.e. Malcolm, Casper, Alejandro & Thiago). But she brings the heat EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. She manages to create a world where these men co-exist and NONE lose their power. I’m giddy just thinking about it and you will be too once you read this book. 😊

Yours is a standalone but I HIGHLY suggest reading the other books in the series. It helps with the back story (but also the stories are just freaking amazing and you’re missing out if you don’t).

I'm loving the Beautiful Sinners series by Elena M Reyes and Yours was another win!

Javier Lucas is sinfully hot. Dangerous to a T but you can't help but want him. A ruthless assassin that knows who and what he wants and will stop at nothing to have her.

Mariah Asher. Strong willed, determined and guarded. Rightfully so. She has a past that's hard to forget and after being burned she's cautious and deliberate. I have to admit, I admired her resistance to Javi. Any other woman would've caved a lot sooner and while it's frustrating in the best way, the slow burn between these two was so worth the wait.

Spanning two continents, Yours is done in true Elena fashion; detailed, accurate, raw and unfiltered. Gritty and clever. Hot and wild.

If you're a fan of mafia romances, I highly recommend this series. It's very different to the norm of the trope and definitely addictive!

Book 4 of the Beautiful Sinners series is Javier and Mariah's story. Javier comes to the States from Columbia, where he is the head of his own family, but he's a wanted man. So he comes to work for another family for a year. And right when he walks in he is faced with Mariah, spicy little spitfire who guards her cousins office, she's armed and dangerous, and Javier is smitten! But Mariah isn't looking for a man after being played by the last one, and that didn't end well for him. In fact Mariah hasn't had it easy for a long while, but Javier is going to make sure that changes. They both suffer losses and heart break to their hea.

Another hot for the queen of mafia romances! I've wanted to read Javier and Mariah's story since we met them in other books in the series! It's a story of family, love and fate that captures you instantly. From the first time they meet when Mariah say "Take another step and I'll shoot you." There was an instant connection; however Mariah thinks she's unlovable, Javier is willing prove her wrong. From their back & forth banter plus steamy chemistry these two heat up the room.
From Columbia to Chicago this angsty, action packed adventure will keep you on your toes.

Utterly Phenomenal!!

DAMN! I am absolutely in love with Javier. He's everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend. He's sexy, possessive, demanding and so very hard to resist! I fell head over heels for him and his ability to make my panties melt with his words and that things he does for love.

Javier and Mariah's story is dark, gritty, thrilling and very sexy. They had me laughing, crying and swooning over the two of them. They are both badass characters who will do everything and anything to protect their families and those closest to them. Mariah is a total kickass woman who knows how to fight but also how to listen and survive in the brutal mafia world she lives in.

Javier and Mariah were everything I could ever want in an intense and dangerous couple. They are both unpredictable, fierce in their loyalty and unafraid to get down and dirty.

This story blew me away and left me completely breathless. I loved every second of the violence, the mysteries, the romance and the freaking hot sex!

Highly recommend.

This is the 4th book in the series but it can be read as a stand-alone. Javier is a killer and he has no regrets about it. When he meets Mariah, sparks fly. Mariah grew up in Javier’s world and does her best to keep her wall up around him but it seems impossible. Fast-paced read with intense chemistry, loads of twists and turns and an emotional read that really draws you in. I liked it.

I'm a huge fan of Elena M. Reyes as she just has that "it" factor that sings to my dark & twisty self with her mafia romance. Javier is an unapologetic assassin for a crime family, so he's not one to trifle with ever especially since he's on a revenge tour which leads him to working for another crime family. Things in his world take a crazy turn when his new boss's cousin, Mariah, comes in his path. He wants her instantly, but not for any sort of relationship (yet) but they have some very intense chemistry which is totally out of control since it's so strong. There's another complication though, she wants nothing to do with him because of betrayals in her past. However, I have to talk about that chemistry again because it's simply undeniable. Of course, Ms. Reyes doesn't pen a wine & roses type of story, nope, people are doing dirty because crime families aren't even close to fluffy animals. There's also twists added in which allows for the f-bomb dropping so yeah, Yours is another crazy story that I loved hard! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

So, he up & moves to Chicago where he becomes the right hand man for Malcolm Asher (who is the king in his neck of the woods). Javi has never really wanted anything more from his life, until he meets Malcolm's assistant, who is also his cousin, Mariah. She is beautiful, sassy, & a force to be reckoned with (She threatens to shoot him 🤭) Sparks fly immediately between the two, enticing a spicy game of cat & mouse.
