She’s at the top of her glamorous profession – but now supermodel Chloe Bolton is determined to find a more rewarding, peaceful life. As soon as she tries to settle down in her mothers’ rural South Carolina town, she is at instant odds with handsome, reserved Devon Jamison…
Burned by a self-absorbed ex-girlfriend, Devon was sure Chloe was the same shallow type. He’d bet good money she probably wouldn’t stick around Holtsville long enough to see the foundation for her dream house poured. But he soon found Chloe’s spirit and strength challenging him and his carefully-shielded emotions. Now amid hidden hurt and unexpected romantic rivals, Devon and Chloe must discover what they want most and have always waited for.
Please Note: Admission of Love was originally published in paperback in 2000. The paperback edition is no longer in print.

Although this is a great story, the numerous editing issues slowed the pacing of the story way down! Supermodel Chloe is a city girl looking forward to retiring to North Carolina. She certainly has enough millions to do so. But then she meets country contractor, Devon Jamison, who not only builds her new home but a stairway to her heart! But do long distance romances ever end happily ever after?
TOTALLY enjoyed Chloe and Devon's combative and MAGNETIC attraction...they TRULY put up a good fight...I found Chloe and her LOVE for the small town that her mother and grandparents grew up in to be quite sincere despite her SUPERSTAR model status...and the relationships she built with townspeople and Devon's family is quite ENDEARING...and I definitely had to grab a couple tissues at the bittersweet ending...Admission of Love is another ENJOYABLE romance by Niobia Bryant...sadly, once AGAIN IMHO the author should have taken a moment to have the book "re-edited" in order to clean up the many typos and/or grammatical errors, especially considering it's another 15th Anniversary Special Edition.
Love is found in the strangest places. It's awesome when its found with someone you think is your sworn enemy. Devon and Chloe are perfect for each other. And now I see how delusional Alicia fit in with a later book. Too bad she still didn't know how to cook well.
A emotional ride., but still a great ride to be on. You got great laughs and passion, and a little sadness. No other way to describe the beautiful love story. I enjoy every aspect of the story. The characters were great and you really connect with them.
I so glad to see Devon and Chloe get together they finally admitted their love for one another. They both belong together. Deshawn will make a great partner for Anoka hopefully they want to through all that Devon and Chloe did to get together. I guess the saying anything worth having i worth fighting for. This was a great book I would recommend it as a good read
I have was very surprised to learn about this hidden treasure. I read the very next book in this series years ago & fell in love with Holtsville characters. They are Real & so authentic, so much so I writing this review with teared stain cheeks.
One of my first reads by this Author! I've read it several times and still love it every time. This is one of the stories that made me fall in love with Niobia's work and she's never let me down.
I love Chloe and Devin from the beginning. The handsome, brooding man and outspoken, gorgeous model go head to head in the beginning even though the chemistry was there from the moment they almost crashed into each other.
Alicia and Chloe's ex provided some drama and DeShaun (Devin's identical twin) and Anika (Chloe's BFF) provided realness, humor, and sanity. Lil Na Na provided the wisdom and insight.
This was such a good read. The author told us to keep the time period of the early 2000's into consideration when you read this book. Some of ways things were handled would not fly today.
I think I saw on FB that this was the first book written by Niobia Bryant . While this book was well done, I can definitely say that she's grown a lot as a writer since publishing this book. I love all of her romance novels and her sex scenes are always HOT!!!
In this book, Chloe and Devin, who don't look like a good match on paper, were just what the other needed. There were a lot of crazy fights and misunderstandings between them, but they were meant to be. I loved all the characters - well, except for Chloe's crazy ex and Devin's bestie, of course. And Nana Lil was the best. I was almost in tears at the end.
Can't wait to see what's in store for Deshawn and Anika!
This was a very well written story. The last few pages had me crying both tears of sadness and of joy. Devon was as stubborn as a mule but I guess given his previous relationship drama, his actions were understandable. I just wish he and Chloe hadn't had so many misunderstandings in their relationship. But overall I really enjoyed it.
I just recently revisited this book and I still love it! This is one of my favorite romances. I bought this in paper back years ago.Devon and Chloe are great so is Deshawn and Nana Lil. I love love love this book. I just wish it was available for my Kindle
I really did love this book. She made you want to be apart of the family Nana Lil love that woman. The love scenes and the story it went there for me, its a keeper.
This was an amazing story. Please read the story of Devon and Chloe and I hope it touches you as much as it touched me. Great writing. I loved the ending. GREAT.
