Lauren Carter Reilly grew up in Chester County, Pennsylvania. Surrounded by eccentric individuals and well traveled family members, she developed a love of storytelling. Lauren attended Mercersburg Academy where she was lucky enough to travel abroad, growing her love of all things haunted and historical. She went on to receive her BFA in theatre but feels she learned more from drag and burlesque performers then she did during her time at college in Philadelphia. Lauren still acts and models on occasion. You can find her in the background of several series and the foreground of a few, one-actors series online. She currently resides in Salem, Massachusetts.
I just finished the digital download of All We Have is Money and I absolutely loved it! Lauren did an incredible job bringing all her beloved characters to life on the page. However, I have to give the author enormous props for how she handled the sensitive topics in this book. (There is a trigger warning in the front of the book.) However, Lauren is very careful to portray these topics in a trauma-informed way.
Even if you have never seen Lauren’s Sunday O’Rorden videos on TikTok, All We Have is Money is a great book on its own. Beautiful settings, realistic character development, and of course, women finding their power through crime. It is a Sunday O’Rorden novel, after all.
You’ll definitely find yourself rooting for the main heroines the entire way!
Can’t wait to see what Lauren Carter Reilly comes up with next! ❤️
