Early on, Pamela Jones realized she had an unusual talent for putting two people together. Over the years, she's turned it into a successful matchmaking service for the ultra wealthy: Billionaire Marriage Brokers. While she specializes in "business" marriages -- paring people off because of their skills, education, or training -- she can spot a potential love match a mile away. When Pamela has a "good feeling" about a bride and groom - a business marriage can become so much more.
Amber Appleby is not the blushing bride. She makes a career out of being a wife—a business wife that is. After signing divorce papers with her third husband, Amber’s looking forward to a few months in a tropical location when Pamela calls her into the office to ask a favor. Pamela explains that her life-long friend has passed away leaving a world-class ski resort and extensive financial holdings to his grandson, Rym, with the stipulation that he marry a BMB bride to coach him through his first year as a billionaire. Amber’s up for the assignment but Rym turns out to be a maverick—and a gorgeous one at that. Amber’s skills as a life coach are tested at every turn right along with her heart. Faced with a law suit that could wipe out the resort Rym’s grandpa built from scratch, Amber has to decide if she’ll protect her marriage or the thing Rym loves most. Marriage was much simpler when love wasn’t involved.
With that in mind, she's written over 200 novels full of fun and flirty characters who navigate the turbulent waters of romance with open hearts and creativity.

I love this series. So fun. Modern day arranged marriages that are cute and clean. This it the 3rd book in the series. They are short enough to read in one sitting but long enough to give you time to root for these relationships to work out. Already looking forward to the next book.
I decided to bump all these up to four stars, because I do enjoy them and look forward to reading them. I like the original premise and the characters are always likable.
I liked that this one was a little different than the first two. Our heroine Amber, has been working for the BMB for a few years now, has actually had three husbands so far. Amber really does consider this her job, and while she builds friendships with her husbands, it's never been anything more. Until she meets her new husband Rym, then all her rules go out the window. Or down the slopes. Rym just inherited his fathers very successful and exclusive ski resort in Park City, Utah. I LOVED the setting in this one. I've spent a lot of time in Park City and had an easy time getting into this one. Amber was a likable character, as well as Rym. They were good for each other.
Like the other books, I would have liked to see more of Rym and Amber together, especially out side of work. I think if this were a full length novel the time spent at work wouldn't bother me as much. Then we could see them on their "down time" and see them really fall for each other. I have a hard time buying the falling in love part.
Overall, a fun addition to the series. I look forward to reading the next one.
Content: Clean While this is the third book in the series, it could stand on its own.
Rym has been estranged from his grandfather for years. When he receives a phone call telling him that he must head to his grandfather's house right away he has no idea that his life is about to change. When he gets there he finds his grandfather on his deathbed and learns that he is the sole heir to his grandfather's estate and ski resort. Of course there is one stipulation that he must abide by in order to inherit.. he has to get married. But not to just any bride... a bride from BMB... a bride that his grandfather has hand picked for him. To say Rym is a bit irked is an understatement. But he will do anything to keep the ski resort in the family and running the way his grandfather did. He is definitely stubborn in the beginning but once he opens his eyes he sees exactly what he has been looking for and needing in his life.
Amber has just signed the divorce papers for her 3rd marriage and is looking forward to a tropical getaway. But before she can walk out of BMB she is called into Pamela's office and is told she has another marriage already lined up for her. There will be no getaway. She is heading to cold, snowy Park City, UT. She definitely does not like the cold but she loves her job and with this marriage she will be one step closer to her goal. Little does she know that this marriage will be different than any of her other marriages. She was definitely friends with her other husbands but with Rym... well... let's just say the heart wants what the heart wants. ;) And when a decision needs to be made and Rym isn't around to make it she will do anything she can to make sure Rym keeps the ski resort that he loves... even if that means sacrificing what she has been looking for and needing in her life.
I really enjoy this series! Each story has been fun and I find myself always looking forward to the next book to be released. Lucy McConnell definitely knows how to grab me and suck me into her books. I love it! Definitely an auto buy author for me! :)
And of course I can't forget my Amber and Rym! I have Lucy to thank for my hero choice. Once the seed was planted it stuck and I was definitely NOT complaining... ;) Hehe.
I am really loving this series. I love the premise and I love that each of the books are about a different bride and groom. This book was a little different than the other two I've read in this series in that the bride, Amber, has already been married three times. I loved her character, I thought that she seems to be down to earth and real, perfect for the handsome, but independent Rym.
Another thing that was a bit different about this one was that it wasn't Rym's choice to have a bride from the Billionaire Marriage Brokers, he was happy on his own, but his grandfather wanted him to have a bride to help him through his transition from really having nothing to being a billionaire with a business to run. This causes more than a few problems for Rym and Amber, leaving the reader wondering if they'll be able to work out their problems, or if they will have to cancel their contract early.
I love that these books are completely clean, no need to worry about being ambushed by a bedroom scene.
This is a fun series, perfect for a winter day when you want to read and escape to a different place!
This was such a cool premise for a book--who knew there was such a thing as professional brides? I love the setting in Park City, Utah and the HEA in the love story. I'm a fan of Lucy McConnell--her writing is clear, fast-paced, and puts you right in the story. I'm looking forward to reading more of the billionaire series.
This was another good story in the Billionaire Marriage Brokers series. It was interesting to see a different spin on the story- a girl who'd been a bride a few times helps out a new billionaire who is in over his head. Maybe I've been reading too many of these back to back, cause this story didn't resonate with me as much as some of the others. Still a good clean romance, just not my favorite.
I love these stories of arranged marriages so much! I had all the feels and rooted for REM and Amber. Worth reading and I can’t wait for the next one. They are that good. 😊
This was a cute and quick read. It's been a few books back since I read it but I remember enjoying it and thought the characters and the story was entertaining.
I really love this series!! So fun. This was another cute story. A little different than the others, in that our heroine was a professional bride (this being her fourth BMB marriage) and our hero didn't willingly sign up for the marriage. So that set it off for a fun ride. :) I really liked Amber. And Rym...side note: is it pronounced "Rim" or "Rhyme"?? I went with "Rim" ;) A couple things I wish were different about this one (and all of them really)...1) that they were longer! I love them, but want more! ...and 2) that they showed more time together...for instance, here's a paragraph with Rym thinking to himself: "The moment he walked into a meeting, his eyes found hers. If they were at home and she entered the room, his head snapped up. Even when he’d spend a few minutes at the end of the day greeting parents as they picked their kids up at the ski school, he’d know the minute she stepped on the snow."
I wish we'd gotten to actually see more scenes like that in the book, and not just have him think about it happening. And I wish there had been more time shown of their time together outside of work, building on their relationship.
But, I still loved it!! So looking forward to the next one!
4+ stars I stumbled across this series on Kindle Unlimited and I am so glad I did! While I find the story premise to be a little far fetched, it still makes for a fun and engaging read! All of the first 4 books I have read in this series have been delightful! I have enjoyed the characters and seeing them work through their circumstances to find love.
At first, the books would seem to be stand alone novels, as only the secondary characters show up repeatedly. However, later in the series there is a repeat of a previous couple in Book 4 and a character from this novel will be in McConnell's newest release, The Protective Groom. Also, Book 6 will have another character from one of the earlier novels, who had a cameo appearance. So with all that said, I would read them in order.
Another wonderful plus is that this series is currently available with Kindle Unlimited, so you can read right through the whole series! Yay!
This is a clean read romance. Light, fun and heartwarming!
Another great story with BMB! Great chemistry and development between the characters. Rym had to learn to seek help and to know who to ask for help while Amber had to learn to live a little and seek happiness. Ms. Mcconnell has another great book under her belt. I read the kindle version and there were still several editing issues and marks in the book...but not enough to distract from the story.
PG No violence, no bad language, no sex (some kissing) I love reading Lucy McConnell's romances! I like being able to rely on an author to deliver something entertaining that will make me swoon, but not blush and skip pages. This Billionaire Marriage Broker series is really cute. This book is #3 in the series. The three I have read are perfect romantic fantasy/escape books, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend any of them.
I've loved all of the Billionaire Bride books by Lucy McConnell and this one was no exception. I really loved that Amber is so professional and analytical about marriage and assisting her husbands in their careers and then she falls in love with Rym. This is a fabulous love story. Highly recommended.
This is a great series and wonderful book. It's a quick read and very sweet. The one thing that I have loved throughout the series is that the greatest of these is love-true, respectful, love. Just happened upon thus series and was very pleasantly surprised.
hoo boy. wasn't as big of a fan of this one. rym was... a piece of work. he was very self focused, very over emotional, very illogical. and did not make the smartest decisions, and defended them as smart for emotional reasons. like when amber said he didn't have the luxury of doing everything himself-"it's not a luxury, it's a necessity because of my poor past!" ....really? and then his grocery habits of buying frozen dinners and premade stuff. like.. bruh. you'd be a lot less poor if you learned to cook and actually asked for help. BUT i know i'm nitpicking here, lol.
also, i was not a fan of how he treated her. he was horrible to her, then would get jealous, and was constantly tearing her down. uggggh.
idk. maybe most of it was my ptsd getting triggered with him, but wasn't as big of a fan this time.
Rym and Amber have a wonderful marriage of convenience story. Rym is a poor ski instructor just trying to get by the best he can but doing a job he loved. His grandfather leaves the ski resort to him in his will but since he had not had time to train Rym, his grandfather is leaving a stipulation that Rym is to marry someone who will be able to help train him from the BMB group of brides his grandfather has chosen. Amber has just gotten out of her third marriage and plans to relax on a beach some place warm. Her boss has other plans for her and sends her to help a new millionaire who knows nothing about doing business to get his finances and business in order. She wasn’t expecting Rym. Read how they stumble through their relationship to see if they end up staying married or will Amber be looking for another millionaire to help.
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Amber Appleby has done several business marriages, and now Pamela has asked her to marry the grandson of her friend. Rym must marry to keep his inheritance and the world class ski resort his grandfather started. He needs help learning the business, and all it entails. Amber has the skills necessary to assist and teach him what he needs, but he’s resistant at first. Since she’s from California, she doesn’t like the cold and has never been skiing, but is willing to learn. A heartwarming story.
Amber and Rym's story begins with Rym's Grandfather dying and stipulating that Rym has to marry a bride from BMB that Pamela a dear friend chooses for him to help him learn the business end or Iron Mountain Resort. He is used to his independence, Amber is use to taking charge and guiding the husband's to be confident, independently wealth and not be taken advantage of. Things shift pretty quickly for both of them. Great story loved the characters and the scenery was descriptive enough that you felt like you were right there in the snow of Utah.
A good, marriage broker romance. In the beginning, Rym is an unsuitable partner for Amber. He's headstrong and foolhardy. He mistrusts her every action. But that is a bit expected as he didn't request the match: his grandfather did. I would have liked more of the flirtatious scenes. Overall, it's an entertaining story.
In this BMB novel, we read more from the groom’s perspective than many other romance novels. I enjoyed the story and how Rym has to learn how to take on the huge sums of money as learning how to become interdependent. It was well told and a good read.
You do not need to read these books in any particular order. They do not have anything in common except the BMB company as a plot device. If you enjoy a good, clean romance, pick up this one and you will likely enjoy it.
Billionaire needs help finding a wife? Sounds like a different premise for a story, but when you consider how many might want to marry a billionaire for only $$$'s and not for the best of intent, maybe hiring an agency to be the go-between could be a good idea, especially when the agency does background checks.
After an unexpected inheritance of a ski resort, Rym must take a professional bride to help him get up to speed on the business aspect of his inheritance. It's hard to come to grips with the fact that he can't succeed alone and even harder for him to trust Amber as a person (he is her 4th husband through BMB...and while that's a good thing, it's still weird, right?).
OMGosh, OMGosh, OMGosh!!!! Each and every page... 😍😍😍
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.
I think this is my best so far in the series. While not a fan of the serial professional bride concept, I liked the chemistry and dynamics between Amber and Rym.
