He watches! From the moment he saw Jessica Claremont, he knew what he had to do. The others helped – their blood worked for a little while, but no one’s blood would bring Anne back – no one’s blood except hers.
He waits! As a young girl, Jessica Claremont was completely caught up in the hot and forbidden, Brody Silver. He is everything a young girl could dream of, at least he was until he rejected her. On the same night Brody shatters her young heart, her entire family disappears. Was it the Shadow Valley Killer? He kills! Seven years later she returns to Shadow Valley, but now she works for the FBI and has been sent to Wyoming to investigate the high profile murder of a senator’s daughter. Still scarred by the loss of her family, she vows to catch the killer that has plagued the valley for almost a decade, but will her passion for her old flame put her right into the clutches of a serial killer? In Shadow Valley, nothing is what it appears to be.
Kendra loves theme parks, tropical islands, and the sea. When she isn’t busy writing her next adventure, she likes going to the drive-in movies with her kids, camping, long road trips, and watching The Walking Dead. You might run into Kendra at Disneyland, or possibly New Orleans, especially around Halloween. She’ll probably be listening to Guns -n- Roses, and eating Gumbo. Slash is the best!
Eh. I already struggled through the beginning(immature non love), but then the end was even worse. I hate stories where you are told a boy is cute but never really given an image to picture. And then the girl is in love (why because he's cute?). And that love survives time and distance (not love, that's lust at best) and then even that is ripped away (since a lame pnr twist means most of what you read never even happened) but they'll be okay anyway? Really?
I'll try to make sure I review her other books (there's at least one or two by this author that were better) to make up for slamming this one. But I hate rating this low without some form of explanation.
