Irene is a nosey neighbour and as Maggie and Jake are about to find out when they move onto ‘her’ street she knows everything about everyone and loves to tell the tale to anyone who will listen
But it’s only harmless chatter, it whiles away a few minutes when they see her and causes no neighbours any real harm
Until it does
A good short story with the DH traits of humans being in extraordinary situations unexpectedly and with twists aplenty

Short story popcorn thriller read. Kept me interested until the end and turned out being a bit more sinister than I had realized it would be!

In Daniel Hurst’s latest novella, She Knows it All, he kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Nosy Irene is the neighborhood’s know it all and it had a nice surprise ending! At 71 pages long, this was a fast enjoyable book.

Just released and a very fast read. Daniel Hurst knows how to write a thriller regardless of whether it's a full length novel or a quickie like this. Has everything you want in a psychological thriller with a twist at the end that you won't see coming!

the premise was excellent
but the gossip element was
underwhelming and the final
twist felt unnecessary, not to
mention all the repetition. :x

Jack, Maggie, and baby Clara move into a seemingly quiet neighborhood, where they quickly encounter Irene, the resident busybody who seems to know everything about everyone. Jack is initially annoyed by her constant gossip, but before long, he finds himself looking forward to her latest updates while simultaneously wondering just how the hell she manages to know so much about the people around them.
This was such a fun, engaging read, and I really enjoyed watching that curiosity slowly turn into something much more unsettling. What starts out as nosy-neighbor domestic suspense gradually escalates into something far more ominous, and I liked how the shift happened without giving too much away. Irene is the kind of character who makes you laugh at her ridiculous level of curiosity while also making you wonder exactly what she might know about you.
Overall, this was a quick, entertaining thriller that packs plenty into a short space. Daniel Hurst kept me curious about Irene and where the story was heading, and the increasingly ominous atmosphere made this an easy one to devour in a single sitting. Available now on KU!

The Neighbour Who Knows Too Much
She Knows It All by Daniel Hurst another short story.
Every neighbourhood has one, that neighbour who somehow knows everyone's business before they do. In She Knows It All, Daniel Hurst turns that familiar suspicion into something far more sinister, following married couple Maggie and her husband as they realise their neighbour doesn't just gossip, she knows. The real question is how far she's willing to go to uncover their secret.
Hurst has a gift for pulling you into ordinary lives and then quietly tightening the screws, and this story is no exception. I genuinely did not see the ending coming, he has a way with twists that catches you off guard every single time, and this one is no different.
If you enjoy fast-paced short stories that don't waste a word and still manage to land a gut-punch ending, this one's for you.

Daniel Hurst does it again with She Knows It All, the fourth installment in his Short Stories series.
Irene is the kind of neighbor who seems to know everyone’s business—and the more I read, the more I wanted to figure out exactly how she knew so much. There’s something incredibly intriguing about a character who appears to be several steps ahead of everyone else, and it kept me turning the pages to uncover what was really going on.
The short chapters made this a fast and addictive read, but there was still plenty of mystery and suspense packed into the story. I spent most of the book trying to connect the dots, and the ending caught me completely off guard.
If you enjoy short thrillers filled with secrets, suspicious neighbors, hidden information, and a twist you won’t see coming, definitely add this one to your list!

Love These Short Stories
I have read everyone of Daniel Hurst’s books and have loved them all. That is,,all, of them, except the ones about the woman who stole another woman’s family.
His short stories make up for those books.
This Book 4 series is just enough to read in one sitting, enjoy the twisting details, and can’t wait for the next short story release.
She Knows it All, was fun to read. However, any constant reader of Daniel’s book knows immediately where it is going. I guessed the ending in the second chapter, but that did not keep me from reading the whole book.
I will not reveal the ending of this book, but I recommend it to anyone who just enjoys reading a fast paced book, and no gory events..

She Knows It All is the fourth book in Daniel Hurst’s Short Stories series, and it’s a great addition. I liked how quickly the story pulled me in because I kept wondering how Irene seemed to know so much about everyone around her and where she was getting her information.
The short chapters made this a quick, easy read, while still giving me enough suspense to keep guessing. I didn’t see the twist at the end coming, which made for a fun payoff.
If you like nosy neighbors, secrets, and unexpected twists, then you will enjoy this book.

This is a short story I can definately relate to. I have a neighbor that is in everyones business and spreads it through out the neighborhood. I am grateful it is not as extreme as Irene in this story.
This is a story of a busibody that prides herself in knowing everyones business until it begins to effect family and lead to murder. Eventually her source exposes her.
I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of suspense that I find in other books by this author. I wouldn't classify this as a psychological thriller.
Interesting for a quick read.

I love Daniel Hurst’s books, and I’m happy to say I still have many left to read. I’ve read about a dozen now, and there aren’t any I haven’t enjoyed. I also think it takes a very talented author to write an effective short story thriller, and this author definitely has that talent. A number of the ones I’ve read of his are short stories including the first one in the series with this book. Not just anyone can pack a truly thrilling thriller into just a few pages and include a whopper of a twist (or two) but that is what you will find with this book and all of his.

On the edge of my seat...
This one totally went off in a whole different direction and completely caught me off guard! I didn't see it coming at all—Irene was just way too nosy, and man, it really rubbed some people the wrong way. She nearly wrecked a whole family, but hey, she finally learned her lesson, you know? No more sticking her nose where it doesn't belong. She got what was coming to her in those last couple episodes.

Brilliant twist in a great short story
My challenge to myself was to pre order this short story and read it before breakfast on publication day. Mission accomplished. What a great short story where the readers thoughts were focused on one direction only to be thrown by a brilliantly executed twist at the end. Recommended.

Oh boy, loved this!
What a great short read, and a thrilling ending. Funny though, as I was reading about Irene, I kept thinking to myself, that since I've been retired I call myself the Porch Karen of our neighborhood. I'm always out there watching the street and my neighbors. Can't wait for the next short read!

This author never disappoints! This is a quick, easy and very suspenseful short story about a young couple and their baby daughter, Jake, Maggie, and Clara, who move into a new neighborhood. On their daily walk with the baby in the pram, they run into their neighbor, Irene, who is very nosy and seems no know everyone's business. This is a great story and I loved it.
