Spellcheck anyone?

Was a good enough story but went on far, far, too long and even then it’s not finished. It’s like the author is trying to stretch a good story out to form a series. Just one crisis after another.

And then there’s the multiple spelling and grammar errors. At first I thought the story was written by a non-English speaker who used a poor translator but then I read he was actually English. Towards the end I was only interested in seeing how many mistakes there were and believe me, there were many.

The low rating is a reward for very poor editorship by someone.

I won’t be buying any sequels.

This series of books probably has the worst grammar and most incorrectly used words of any book I've read.

It clearly hasn't been proof read, the author doesn't know when to use apostrophes, or when not to. He doesn't know when to use was and were.

The tense changes from past to present and back within one sentence.

He doesn't know the difference between insect and incest - could be awkward for an entomologist!

Not a bad story line, but spoilt by all the errors.

Not too bad, as things go. The story is relatively plausible though. Far too many characters though - there is insufficient time dedicated to their development. I suppose it's meant to be like that... life is short, things are dangerous, zombies, death... aaarghhhh!!!!!!

Decent story, perfect for an easy read. Story is in parts utterly ridiculous but enjoyable nonetheless. Desperately needs to be proof read and edited to bring it up to scratch. The author obviously has a fantastic imagination but needs a little help with grammar and language.

Proofreading is required

The story is great, the characters are good.
What ruined it for me was the grammar and the spelling mistakes.
Drove me up the wall.

I keep coming back to these. See, I really like the premise and the characters, but the grammar and tense changes are a challenge.
The characters stick in your mind though. You want to know what happens next.
Glen Johnson, if you read this, seriously. You could go big if you do some clean up editing.

Disappointing

I gave up on this but decided to give it another go. So bad!y written, grammatical mistakes, spelling errors and just basically not a good story. I usually like this kind of book but not this one. Stick with Bobby Adair or T W Piperbrook for a good Zombie read.
