Revenge in Red
Not yet published
Expected 10 Nov 26A wickedly dark revenge thriller about one woman who's finally had enough.
Vanessa Baines has spent long enough being afraid of men. Now she's angry.
After escaping an abusive relationship in London, Vanessa returns to the seaside town where she grew up with one simple plan: keep her head down, keep herself to herself and finally feel safe.
But someone is watching her.
At first, it's a man staring from the flat opposite. Then come the phone calls, the threats and the terrifying proof that he's been inside her home. With women being murdered in the town, and the police offering little protection, Vanessa finds herself trapped inside the supposedly safe life she worked so hard to create.
Until something in her snaps. Vanessa has spent years being frightened, intimidated and told to make herself smaller. She's had enough. And once she decides to stop being the prey, she discovers that revenge doesn't just feel good – it can become dangerously addictive.
Vanessa only ever wanted to be left alone. Really, how hard can that be?
Revenge in Red is a wickedly dark and deliciously outrageous revenge thriller about female rage, bad men and one woman pushed far beyond her limits, perfect for fans of Bella Mackie's How to Kill Your Family and Katy Brent's How to Kill Men and Get Away With It.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Revenge in Red by Rebecca Griffiths is a wildly crazy, gripping, and deeply cathartic thriller about toxic entitlement, systemic injustice, and a woman who refuses to shrink.
This book was an absolute wild ride that left me almost lost for words! There are parts of the story that are genuinely challenging to read—specifically watching entitled men act as if women are disposable waste and expecting them to shrink themselves to avoid trouble. It made my skin crawl!
That is precisely why I was 100% Team Vanessa from start to finish. When no one would listen to her attempts to do the right thing, she finally had enough and took matters into her own hands. You go, girl!
While the plot gets a bit far-fetched at times, that is the beauty of fiction when the core message hits this clearly. It is an incredibly entertaining, nerve-tingling, and deeply satisfying story about power, justice, and standing up against disgusting behavior. Absolutely 5 brave stars! 💥🔥🩸👠

A highly enjoyable read from Rebecca Griffiths.
It’s fair to say that life had not been a bed of roses for Vanessa and so it was easy to see why she embarked on a one woman mission to rid the world of just a few less than desirable men. Fair play girl.
Yes the tale was a bit far fetched at times but that’s fiction for you however I fully enjoyed the story and it would be nice to think that Vanessa can eventually find her happy ever after in this world but who really ever knows what’s round the corner or who might decide to come and encroach on your nice evening on the Amalfi Coast when you think you have left all your troubles behind you in the UK.
Thanks to Rebecca Griffiths for another great read and thanks to Lexi & the Bloodhound team for the early copy 👏👏

Vanessa has moved back to her home town to recover from an abusive relationship but it’s not the safe haven she expected. When her creepy neighbour starts to invade her world and she discovers a girls dead body on the beach her first place to seek help is the local police. She didn’t think things would turn out the way they did.
A different take on a world we live in.
