Marrying the Savage is a Contemporary Bratva romance whose FMC Sofia Antonov has just been negotiated off by her uncle to Dmitri Sokolov with a wedding day fast approaching. That’s if her smart mouth doesn’t get her killed first by the groom.
The wedding day arrives and before any I do’s can be said Pakhan Damir Volodin, Dmitri’s enemy interrupts the service because Sofia secretly sent him an invite.
Bullets start to fly, the bride runs, Damir pursues, they spend a spicy moment in the church hallway and he decides right then and there…she is his!
Loved the story, and especially Sofia with that smart mouth that Damir has no problem taming. Good writing, and characters, humor, drama, age gap, Bratva dynamics, danger, emotion, and passion combined in crafting a wicked good read that kept the pages turning and the ride a wild one to that HEA.

Depressing

Ok spoilers up ahead but this was really depressing. I have read a couple books by this author and something always seems to be off but in this book it’s just sad. The first half of the book is great and then it gets dark. Sofia is wearing his dead wife’s clothes. Then she was hurt and he leaves her at the doctor. She tells him she’s pregnant and boom he leaves her again. Then he believes his brother’s lies and locks her in a room alone for days while she is pregnant 😳 it was disturbing and cruel. She made friends with the housekeeper and they forced her to treat her as a stranger as well. It was not ok. It left me with such sadness. Then she just immediately forgives him, which does not match the strong character they made her out to be. Honestly it was just too disturbing.

Marrying the Savage by Laylah Snow was an entertaining, steamy read with all the drama I look for in a Bratva romance. The age-gap dynamic added an extra layer of tension to an already complicated relationship, and the chemistry between the characters definitely kept me turning the pages. I enjoyed the darker atmosphere, possessiveness, forbidden attraction, and the danger surrounding the romance. There were plenty of moments of tension and emotional conflict that kept the story moving and made me curious about how everything would unfold. Overall, Marrying the Savage was a fun, dramatic, and steamy romance that delivered the intensity I was hoping for.

The characters were very appealing and complex and compelling and absolutely perfect together. Plot was intriguing and intense and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend!

I loved this story. amir and Sofia connect across the restaurant when he comes to their table. The pull between them is strong and when she sends him an invitation to her wedding things really heats up. She ends up marrying the lesser of two evils, but when danger surrounds her Damir steps up in a big way. This action-packed drama kept me glued to the drama. I loved the suspense and how Damir finally laid the ghosts of his past to rest to finally get a chance for happiness.

This is an intense, exciting read. I love books that start off with a bang and you just get to keep going on that ride that is so exciting it keeps you engaged and turning that page as you need to find out what happens next. I loved this couple together and as they navigated their new relationship you can't help but love the spice and the back and forth they have. This is a must read!!

I found this book to be hard to put down reading due to the way that Laylah wrote the romance scenes and the storyline.
Everything about this bookkept me intrigued and turning the pages until I hit the very end.
Laylah's writing style is always amazing, and I really have come to love reading all of her romance books.
Be prepared for Damir and Sofia to sweep you off your feet with their romance.

exciting

That was great book. Excitement non stop. And lot of mystery but could nearly guess who would betray the brat an even though is hertbreakening. The romance between Sofia and Damir is cute and so much with sass. Love the sassy dialogues between them.

Don’t bother with the epilogue

Unless you want another sex chapter. An already used story line with an unexpected pregnancy & HEA. The sex was sooooooo boring I skipped over it & read only the first sentence in each .

I feel this had all the things needed to make it a great Bratva Romance for both Sofia and Damir. And also had some mystery to it as well. One of the better books by this author.
