Faith and Mace the slightly moronic werewolves.
It's mostly sex... that I skimmed. But it's also very short.
Faith wants away from her controlling parents, and her father asks Mace to get her.
Mace finds she is his mate but he doesn't want to be tied to her father whom he doesn't trust around his pack.
SOoo he tells her he won't mate her, even though it will likely turn him mad. Nice eh?? He'd rather die a crazy man, than mate her?
Does he grovel? nope
Does she hold out til he apologizes? nope
Otherwise I would have enjoyed it even though it wasn't much of a story.

Mace is a rough sort....in a way. He's a biker and alpha so definitely rough around the edges. It shows in his attitude lol. So, I liked Mace but I wouldnt have forgiven him so easily for denying her and being as cruel as he was to her. Those words had to hurt her saying she might not have been worth the trouble...ouch. I didnt see him apologizing to her for those remarks. He claimed her yes but I dont think she would have been so accommodating if she wasnt in her breeding cycle. Needless to say they are bonded but he's got some making up to do for sure. Also, I didnt like her dad Colm that much. He's a bully obviously to discount her and Mace being mates. They were friends...really good friends and I dunno just didnt make sense that there would be a challenge to the death. Not when the truth was staring her dad in the face...hello mates. I know this was a short but there was almost too much detail for it to be so short. Thats my negative feelings on it. I think it could have easily been a novella like her others.

He better had manned up and took his mate like an Alpha. Her father isn't that good of an Alpha if has to use other supernatural beings to intimidate people.

I liked this story. The characters are well written but not to developed. There is no violence but talk of it. There is sexual content not too graphic.
