SEERiously A Great Ending For This Series! . . .

This is the conclusion to the Seeker series and I am crushed that it is over! I have grown to love these characters and can't believe the series is done, but the epilogue makes a reader happy. Plus the note at the end from the author hints at possibly more to come, *Happy Dance! The story follows the characters as they decipher the meaning of prophecy, ferret out a new threat, and grow in their relationships.

Deciding to stay in Paris for a year to keep danger away from those she loves, Ally is extremely home sick and wants nothing more than to return home, especially to her love, Jack. However, when Mina is kidnapped by Luc, and then mysteriously returned. Ally, Remy and Mina decide it's time for them to take control for once, so they make a few personal and seer changes. For one Remy and Mina finally admit their feelings and . . . (I'm not saying anything more). Then Ally and Jack take the plunge! (Okay couldn't help that spoiler) The 3 Seers join together to fake an Oracle ascension to return to America where they can plan to lure Luc out of hiding. While finally home more wedding bells toll and life goes on wonderfully. . . for a time. It's not until Ally gets a vision that has her frantically searching for a way to save something, or should a say someone, precious to her. Ally, Mina and Remy begin practicing and planning to guard themselves against anything Luc is putting together. The only hitch to their plan is Luc seems to always be a step ahead, and there is a mysterious little boy who seems to have powers no one understands.

Overall, LOVED IT! I wanted my HEA and I got it and perhaps with a hint for more to come, *fingers crossed. The weddings were so cute and made me want to cry, all the couples just blossomed from teenagers to mature adults and it was wonderful to read it over the 4 books. Jack and Ally's relationship is just too beautiful and in this story they take on a whole new role as more than just a couple when they take in Megan. Oh and yes, the prophecy is revealed and fulfilled concerning Mina, Remy and Ally (which I guessed right). So happy for how that turned out and I can see how it was all meant to be. One of the best parts was the beautiful epilogue, it was a great conclusion to the book and closure to the series that gives readers a sense of peace. Really sad the books are over, but so glad I was able to read this series and can re-read it whenever I want too.

"Oracle" the fourth book in the "Seeker Series" is an exciting blend of romance, mystery and the paranormal that begins when Ally Moran is planning to return home after spending a year studying in France, hoping that Rémy's search for the elusive Luc will be successful. But , when Mina goes missing not only does Rémy have to face his feelings for her, but Ally decides it's time for the Oracle's ascension.

Kate Giles provides a fake prophecy that gives the illusion that Ally is the Oracle although she'll be living in Albuquerque, New Mexico but meeting regularly throughout the year with the Seer Councils. Hoping the plan will counter Luc's efforts to coerce her into using her power so he can dominate the European nations, Ally is disturbed when she begins having dreams about Megan being kidnapped. Only with the support of Jack , Mina and Rémy will she be able to thwart Luc's evil , learning the truth about the prophecies in the process.

Set between Albuquerque, New Mexico and Paris, France threads of the plot not only deal with the identity of the new Oracle, fulfillment of the prophecies, and bringing Luc to justice, but the celebration of the three main couples with engagements and marriages. Even Mina and Remy find happiness after dancing around any admission of love until she's kidnapped and drugged. This part of the story is romantic, and delightfully funny especially when Tara becomes a bit of a Bridezilla.

The plot progresses smoothly, building intensity and suspense with Ally's dark visions of Megan's kidnapping and her irrational fear of the enigmatic youngster who's harbouring a deep attachment to her young sister-in-law. Yet through all the challenges and uncertainties there is a current of love, understanding and commitment not only between Jack and Ally but in the interaction with their friends and family.

Although the characters continue to mature in personality Ally still seems very naive and too accepting, never following up on her hunches just as Jack is highly protective and aggressive at times even though her power has vastly increased. In this novel Megan, Jack's sweet, sensitive and quiet ten year old sister is an anchor for Kai a mysterious, insecure new student at her school. When bulled she quickly steps in to protect him. It is these characters and others who add to the excitement, energy and drama of this gripping story.

I thoroughly enjoyed "Oracle" which wrapped up this series with a twist that surprised, and an ending that was satisfying. I can't wait to see what Amy Reece has in store for her fans next.

Oracle (Seeker Series 4) Amy Reece 4.5 Stars

This is the 4th and final installment to the series and a great conclusion. Ally is now in France and Jack is still back at home. Ally is missing him like crazy, but whilst Luc is still a threat she has to stay with Remy and Mina. I'm going to try to write this review without giving away any spoilers.

I loved the way in this final book everything falls into really nicely into place. Jack and Ally's love for each other is stronger than ever, personally I would've liked a little more 'heat' and chemistry between them but I do understand this is YA. I have to say I didn't foresee the change in direction of the 'oracle' and I truly loved Kai and Megans bond ... here's to hoping we get a book for Kai and Megan. I loved this series thoughout and really like Amy's style of writing I will definitely look out for more from Amy in the future.

i absolutely love, love, loved this 4 book series. i could not put these stories down, it captured my interest from page one. my life was literally on hold for 3 days of non stop reading. each book was better than the last. such an emotional roller coaster ride, and so much action and adventure.

i fell in love with the characters fast and will miss them. so sad the series ended. it will take a lot to find another series that can captivate me like this one.

i am a first time reader of this author and have fallen in love with her writing. what do i do now that i have finished this series...oh my..

**Warning: this text may contain spoilers** First, I will start a review of this book then I will give a final review of the series.

3.5 for this book.

Oracle was slightly disappointing for me. I think this was only because we still had no idea which was the Oracle until the very end. I did find it weird that someone as immature as Ally would not only raise Megan, but also adopt a child. I say immature because she was a constant pouter. I also absolutely hated that she didn't want to tell Jack about she and Rémy kissing. Cheating is cheating no matter what. She should have told him about that situation and I waited and waited for her to be truthful. I thought she would go against her friend's advice and be MATURE and tell him.

Now onto my final review of the series. I thought the first two books were interesting enough to hold my attention. While I understand this is a young adult series, Ally NEVER grew up. Her constant crying and pouting made it almost unbearable. She was the shield and it seemed like Mina had her s*** together more to be the shield than Ally. Also, what were the rest of Mina's powers? And since Kai grew up into his teenage years, what were his? Also, the way they mentioned, "What is he?" like he was not a child or a boy but an IT. The constant struggles between the notorious councils was just exhausting. Her mother was also immature enough for me to wonder why her story was placed into it at all. Brian seemed more of a distinguished character than her mother. I do feel this series dragged on, grasping onto whatever drama it could find. If I were to have enjoyed the series, it would have been turning it into only two books with more character development instead of the constant whining and unnecessary drama. Also, Jack was one of those characters that was unbelievable. And I mean that in a male-character-that-was-too-perfect-to-exist. He held his issues together while constantly dealing with a "baby". I won't read the series again, unfortunately. I absolutely hate writing negative reviews because I know how HARD authors work to create something for their readers. This series just did not work for ME. Always personal preferences. But thank you to the author for putting in that time to create a series for other readers who really enjoyed it.

This last book in The Seeker Series is a really beautiful book. I caught on to things during book three so I was glad to see it wrap up nicely. The five year epilogue at the end was marvelous and I look forward to a spin-off series.

Good, good, good

I have enjoyed this series soooo much. Things moved along quickly not taking seemingly forever to resolve. I look forward to the next chapter of this story. I'm sure it must be Kia's. Thank you Amy for a new category of fantasy I really enjoyed.

Crystal's 5 Star Review
This is the finale of the series and the books need to be read in order.
Ally is scared, scared for her family and friends in New Mexico and has decided that she needs to be away from them to spare them from a killer bent on destroying those she loves. She decides to spend her junior year in France with both Mina and Remy, not only going to school but also learning from the French Council. All of a sudden, Mina has disappeared and it’s obvious she has been kidnapped by the man bent on destroying everything. Now Ally and Remy need to work fast to find her. As they do, Ally forces Remy to come to terms with his feelings for Mina.
At the same time, Jack is desperate to get his girlfriend back to New Mexico and has told her that if she doesn’t come home soon, he will fly to France to bring her back. Working together, Mina is found and the killer is finally confronted. I’m not going to give away anything. This story needs to be read and savored. If you are a fan of YA or Paranormal, this series is on my must read recommendation list. I have absolutely loved this series and can’t believe it’s actually over.

Oracle is book #4 in The Seeker Series, I was lucky enough to be gifted a copy of the book to read for Gemma Reads Too Much.

I found book #3 a little disappointing but god book 4 was fabulous.

This book had a kind of x-men vibe and I found it really cool.

FINALLY Ally and Jack got an adult relationship and bloody hell they were at it like rabbits. I would have loved for the sex to be a little more detailed but I’m a kinky little monkey and I think every book should have sex scenes.

This book was much more like the first two books and I loved the tension that was ever present.

Luc was evil but I never honestly understood his motivation, what did he hope to do by harnessing Ally’s power??

Kai is a real enigma and I’m sooo hoping that he gets a book he definitely has a tale to tell.

I totally guessed who was who in the prophecy!!!

I just got into this story the plot flowed along and I got completely lost in it.

I still feel like Mina was a unnecessary character but I’m glad that her and Remy finally acknowledged their feelings for one another.

I loved the ending of this book but I just don’t feel like this story is completely finished.

Kai and Meghan need a book!!!

Oracle gets 4 stars from us.

Ally has gone to France with Rèmy instead of going to Ireland like she was supposed to, but with everything she still has to learn it seamed like the best idea espically since Rèmy grandmother is the current oracle.

Time spent there makes them both realize just how much they still don't know and makes their next steps a bit uncertain. Coming home to New Mexico life is a normal yet still crazy with college and unknown family making an apperance in Ally's life.

Times goes on and you see Ally growning up and her love for Jack grow more and more even when there are things in their lives that are uncertain.

I enjoyed seeing Ally going from young woman to adult and watching as she becomes more of who she is meant to be.

There are still mysterys to solve and once again you will never see everything coming until it is right there in front of you.

I loved seeing old characters and new and seeing more of this amazing world.

Crazy ending to the book! But one that is hoped for. If you have been paying attention to the Oracle's prophecies, you may have an inkling of what is to come, and you might be correct, but there are definitely many surprises in store in this book. From once again, traveling to France, to the Council and the Counseil coming to New Mexico to visit the trio. To another prophecy to hairbrained ideas on how to draw Luc and his followers out. Wait until you read the showdown on that one! WOAH! Who is this little boy that is now in the picture? Is he who he claims to be or is he much more? You will really enjoy the ending of the book. It is sad that it is over, I will miss reading about them. I am happy to see how it ended.

Oracle is great it really is... i really enjoyed this book, plenty going on, loved the ending. was a bit disappointed about who ended out being the oracle, only because of the build up with ally, i was expecting her to become a very powerful oracle who by the end of the book could do wondrous things and saves the day.... but still i don't want to knock the book to much because i i really did enjoy it.

Loved Remy through the whole series what a beautiful character he was.! i adored jack & ally's relations ship and so glad that finally by book 4 we had more than just smoochen.! And god they were at it like rabbits..! FINALLY...

Really enjoyed kai as well and consider that maybe Amy Reece could continue with kai's own story even with Megan... ( that would be something. )

Overall great series really glad i read them.
