Gabby had a hard road growing up & she kept so much inside this book was a real good read I hated her step father for what he did to Gabby & Caroline yes growing up was hard for both of them but I can say one thing for sure Gabby was a real soul fighter & I can't wait to read part 2

Five Star Read !

This was a good read as executive expected by Niki Jilvontae. Gabbie had it so hard after her father's death. Every guy she met was a phuck boy. Robert, Carlton and Jamal was so full of ish. I felt sorry for neither one of them. They all got what they deserved. I would definitely recommend this book to someone.

Great read!
I was glad Gabby was fortunate to experience love from her father, who was a positive force in her life. It was devastating to see her continuously end up in less than desirable situations & witness the punishment that accompanied her choices. Although this story was sad at times, it was well written & a thought provoking read. Looking forward to reading part 2.

Gabby just can't win for losing damn 😬 I am keeping my eyes open for book 2 👀 This child is catching hell! But what doesn't kill you make you stronger. I believe she got conquer all. I was happy when she killed Carlton and tore Toodie's ass up. They damn sho deserved it. Now she done killed off that no talking ass Jamaican and rightfully so. I'm so anxious right now Niki girlllllllllllllllll....whew 😱

D@mn!

Ok, this young lady, Gabbi has endured more than most at 17 years of life. I'm not going to ruin this story for others but I will say Jamal was a monster that richly deserved his fate. Richard was worse and deserved more than he got but I'm so glad her mother did all she could to protect her child. On to part two. Great job Niki!

I Like it

My heart went out to Gabbi. The abuse she endured was horrible and I think a lot of women can relate to her. I found myself thinking what I would have done if I was in her position.

This book clearly defines the concept that whatever damage a child goes through will follow into adult hood.

I am interested in seeing how part two deals with this type of childhood abuses. Hopefully, the author will keep e everything realistic.

In "Mitches" Niki Jilvontae weaves a descriptively heart wrenching and depressing tale of Gabby's life spiraling from sugar to S.ugar H.oney I.ce T.ea with the quickness! After finding strength and realizing she had trusted, loved, wanted to be accepted by and given herself to all the wrong people...BEWARE! Gabby refuses to play the victim anymore!

Wow

Loved the story girlie! Some people don't get a break. But Gabbie went from scared, to angry, mean, and then resilient. Keep pen twerking waiting to read about those other 3, before hero swoops in and treats her right.

Wow

I really love this author's writing techniques. The vivid descriptions she paints force it's readers to clearly see and feel every pain and emotion. The bad news is........... the stories are bittersweet. Dam does anything good ever happen to anyone of these books?

I like how strong Gabbi is. She has gotten through so much. I hope she continues to get through it, and thrive. She seems like a good woman. Those men were definitely mitches. Her father was the only good man.

Good story BUT...

I liked the story but it abruptly ended. I didn't feel as if it was a cliffhanger as much as the author ran out of words.
