I won a giveaway on Goodreads for this book, and in return I gave my word to give a review. Honesty is the best policy, so that is what I promise (;

Let me say, first and foremost, that this book has the most beautiful of covers!!!! So beautiful :D

If I had to pick a theme for this book, it'd be: "Sweet Life Is!"

I love short stories, so, this one with only 49 pages, really caught my interest.
The title beautifully fits this book, completely!!
This story is told from a narrator's view, which is in my opinion, the best way this story could be told!

OverView:
This book is about a man named Jesse, who marries a woman and has two beautiful children. Soon, trouble comes, and his family passes away. Jesse, feeling alone and scared, writes a story of his life. The book gets lost, and life changes in many ways.

I found this book intriguing, although less detailed or as creative as I was hoping.

Positives and Negatives:

Especially Positives (Has to be especially cause I already told you some positives ;)) :

*This book had a sweet storyline which made you feel for the characters.

*The writing shows how much the author put his heart and emotions into this story!

*This is a short story, as above stated, so its easy to read, not very time consuming, and an all around good break from everything. I actually read this in one sitting, about an hour, and of course this is coming from the person who rereads pages to get the full feel of the story xP

Negatives: (Dah, dah, dahhhhh!! XP)
Its sad to say that I did have many negatives on this one.

*The editing was sadly needing, and that was the main thing that bothered me while reading this.

*This is a short story, but, I still felt the scenes were rushed and not given enough time for the reader to get to know the characters and situations playing out.

*I am not one to like sad stories, so this is a personal negative: the story had several sad parts and sequences, although the ending made up for it.

Adjectively Speaking:

*Relaxing
*Simple
*Needy, But True

The Best Part:

My favorite part in this book was the last chapter where the missing words were revealed, and a beautiful poem was displayed!! Amazing!!

Overall:

I felt this book was lacking in several places, but, overall the heart and love put into this book was well done and very well worth a read! So you, go read it ;D
This book may have mistakes, but it is kind and something we should all hear!! Good book (:

3 Stars: Worth a read; good feeling inside!

*1 John 1:9 - If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Always remember Jesus Loves You!!!!

This is a very sweet read. I love it personally because it is set in the South. ;) It has a very important message and shows the amazing patience of God. Add it to your to-do list for this year.
