The danger that surrounds Ian has found its way to Lissa, but it’s not enough to scare her off. She’s determined to stay close to him. That suits Ian, who believes he’s the only one who can protect her. To keep her safe, they must keep up the pretense of their Master/slave relationship. Only his ownership keeps her immune from the vicious tendencies of the anarchist group he’s spying on.

But their sizzling physical connection and growing emotional intimacy makes pretense a reality. Ian is falling hard for the gorgeous woman who refuses to leave his side and kneels at his feet.

Trusting the seemingly innocent submissive is the biggest mistake he’ll ever make.

Note: SPY is the second installment in the RENEGADE serial. It is 30,000 words and has a cliffhanger ending.

Julia Sykes what are you doing to my heart and nerves. How are Ian and Lissa going to survive everything going on. Just who is Alik? How will Ian find her? What's going to happen with the anarchist group? So many questions. As with everyone of Julia Sykes books I love it.
Please write the next part really quickly. My nerves can't take it!!

**No spoilers in this review unless you haven't read the first book*

I was so excited to continue Lissa and Ian's story, especially after the twist ending of book 1, when we found out that Alik is obsessed with Lissa as well.

This novella was a steamy, fast read because you just can't wait to see how this little triangle will play out. The M/s relationship is just as hot, but still unique, just as you would expect from this author.

And, although I do enjoy the hot relationship that builds between Lissa and Ian, I was excitedly devouring each page ESPECIALLY because I, as a huge Sykes fan, already know that the author is really good for awesomely erotic scenes with evil freaking characters. With the underlying terrorist plot afoot, it's easy to tell something sinfully spicy is coming soon.

The tension has definitely increased with this book! This part begins where the last part ended and then takes us on an epic ride that reminds me of my favorite Julia Sykes book, Knight. The writing in Spy is fluid and the dynamic between Ian and Lissa is spot on with the dynamic between Lydia and Smith. Their relationship is poetic and beautiful to watch grow. It's a nurturing and trusting relationship where you can see a true M/s exchange. I love when Lissa realizes things with Alik aren't what they seem and she knows something isn't right and that only Ian can help her. I really enjoyed this piece of the puzzle and can't wait to see what Subject, the next chapter of the story, is all about!

Excellent Cliffhanger. By the time I finished the last page I was so ready for more, so ready to slap people around and so turned on it was ridiculous.

Spy will leave you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole story. The last chapter will have you begging for more yesterday. Ian and Lissa have to work through some differences and get Lissa trained to be his slave immediately. The men of the cult are eager to see how a woman behaves in such a manor that he's told to bring her to the next meeting. Feelings start to develop, betrayal occurs and Lissa is on the verge of a therapuetic breakthrough before all hell breaks lose.

You won't be dissapointed in the writing or the story and you'll definitely want to hang around for more!!!

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Wow! So amazing! I'm so drawn in to this story of Ian, Lissa and Alik that I'm on the edge wondering what is going to happen next. Learning more about Ian's past and the emotion he has inside, you can feel his struggle to distance himself from Lissa. I love these characters and there is perfect mix of hotness, suspense, fear, and on my part, complete jaw dropping, head shaking shock. The next part cannot get here soon enough!

This book starts off where book 1 finished. Ian is getting more and more pulled into the anarchists world and this forces him and Lissa to pretend to be in an M/s relationship. It was a really good book, Ian and Lissa's feelings for each other continue to grow and someone isn't who they appear to be and their alliance is unknown but they may end up hurting Lissa and putting Ian's op in jeopardy. Can't wait to read the next book! As always cliffhanger warning!

Spy

OMG, what is going to happen to Lissa, her therapist is wicked! Ian has no clue? What started out as an attraction, has turned into a scary, mystery, corrupt, terrorist group, who Ian is trying to take down, and Alik not sure what he is, but is ?? Ready to start reading bk.3, awesome, intriguing.

Love this series!!! However, I feel like throwing the book across the room (can't do that as I am reading on my phone). I never post spoilers, but I seriously would love to wring a few of the characters necks!!! A must read!!!

Another scorcher from Julia Sykes. It is hot, hot, hot. Can't wait for number 3. I usually hate cliff hangers but am a huge fan of Julia Sykes.
