I’d wanted James Parker for as long as I could remember. I’d admired him since forever, but I wasn’t the only one. He made his way through the beds of every woman in our small town… every woman but me, that is.

Years passed without sight of James until the night my dad took me to watch him ride in a rodeo. As I watched him conquer a bucking bull, all I could think about was having him ride me the same way.

Daddy offered James a job on our family’s ranch, which gave me the perfect opportunity to realize my deepest desires. But James was as cocky as he was hot, and I soon realized that taming him could prove to be impossible.

A 3.5 rounded to a solid 4 rating.
I have to get one thing off my chest. I DID NOT like Renee, at all! Her character almost made me close the book quite a few times. Thankfully the others balanced her out, mostly.
OK, I feel better now :-)

Started out rough but by the ending it would all make sense and all the mc's will have their HEA. I just would have loved to have James p.o.v. instead it was in Willie's view.

Part 1-

Hope it gets better not worse.
Willow 20 or 21 and her passion is thoroughbreds breeding, training and something her mother started before Willows parents became a couple. Each foal that is born and raised makes her feel closer to her mother. She never knew her but she knows her. Her father almost singlely raised her from a newborn, taught her everything, spoiled to an extent but he did that and ran a business.
Her BFF Matt is her friend, helper, partner, and her voice of reason. They work and play together but would never been closer since Matt is the only gay cowboy in their town.
Bradley is her father's best friends son and bother her father and his are trying to play matchmaker. Brad is way to nice and old fashioned but it's is cover, is actually not nice and looks down of 'poor' people and Matt.
James is a bull riding manwh0re, every town he has women and his sights are set on Willow and she gives in the same day. But James don't want love or commitment and so after he has Willow for a while she catches him at a rodeo lip locking some women. Then comes back and tells her they can be friends with benefits but he wants her to be her friend more then a lay. Willow is beyond hurt and top it off Daddy just announced he popped the question to James's mom Renee. At least Renee is sweet and loving but Willow still sees her trying to take her mom's spot.

Part 2-

The races are upon Willow, she is partial owner of two entering Kentucky Derby. Floats of new baby's being born and a new stallion coming onto the ranch. But new the big question is popped and loads of changes are happening that both James and Willow don't approve of. Plans to stop the engagement is deciding and will they works, well......
Bradley is pushing is luck with Willow and it's driving James to be violent something he never did before with a girl, his feelings are more then ever but he has evidence now and Blackmailing scheme is about the start in part 3.

Part 3-
Blackmail with the Preakness, second crown in the triple crown, jealousy secrets are waiting to he exposed but will they loose what means the most for some people.

Part 4-
Mommy dearest is pushing her luck with Willow and James. Mostly with Willow. Trying to decide a patch job of a surgery would be better off for Cole but Willow wanted the full on surgery with better results, but Renee overstepped her boundaries. James and Willow are more together then not until again Mommy Dearest found them together and demanded them to only see each other at meals and nothing in between and for them to act like brother/sister until their love dies.
But will fate repeat history for Willow, have mother nature take out the man she loves like it did to her mother?????

Part 5-
Perfect conclusion of this 5 part romance.
Their secret is out and they ain't letting nothing stop their love, no matter what the news writes. Good news is revealed, hateful news keeps popping up each day mostly false. Someone is still out to torment Willow but Lucas and his hacking brains will find and turn the 'friend' into the government. Double proposals the same night Mundo won the triple crown, parents wedding and then a double wedding.

I couldn’t put down this somewhat forbidden love story of Willow, an ambitious prize-winning racehorse breeder and James, her sexy bull-riding soon-to-be step brother. They try to resist their strong chemistry but fate has other plans. I loved all of the characters in this book, the storyline and beautiful Colorado setting. Alice Ward did a great job of writing about true love in unconventional circumstances. I’m ready to book my guided trail ride up the mountain!

Outstanding Series of Love All Out!

This series was brilliantly written. The entire set being about three love stories is very open, loving, romantic and covers just about every type of love and marriage under one umbrella of different kinds of scenarios. I would recommend this to anyone I know.

Perfectly beautiful

The stepbrother taboo has been written so many times that they all became repetitive. THIS BOOK HOWEVER IS NOT! Beautifully written and the kind of read that stands out above the rest!

Love is unconditional!

It is true the heart wants what it wants and this story is a embodiment of that. I hate that people can be so closed minded of others but nobody has the right to judge others in personal lives as no one is perfect.

Wow. Absolutely loved this story. James and Willow had a very rocky relationship and many, many obstacles that they had to overcome as a couple, but in the end they did and it just made them a better couple. A very good read!!

I just finished the series, and it is terrific. I felt like my emotions were all over the place. I am very happy that Matt met Lucas and fell in love. Willow and James are perfect together. I am glad that everything worked out for everyone. Even Cole and Renee had a happy ending. Alice Ward sure knows how to bring out all emotions in a book. I am looking forward to reading more by her.

This I read as each one came out as an arc and gave an honest review, absolutely brilliant read which takes you on an emotional journey. You really won't be disappointed and to have them all together you don't have to wait as you normally would.
book 1,
I received this free for my honest review. this book is definitely a great start to the series, Willow has been brought by her rancher dad after her mum died when she was a baby so you could say she has had a sheltered life. Well that's all about to be shook up by her school girl crush James and the realization that her dad has feelings for James's mum. This book will keep your attention between everything going on with the two couples and the humour of her best friend Matt who is gay and there is lots to get your imagination going. You really won't be disappointed in this story but the cliff hanger will leave you desperate to find out what happens in the next one.
book 2,
I was given this free for my honest review. This starts straight from where you were left in part one, Willow was left reeling after seeing James kissing another girl but like he told her he makes no commitment, this is where it all gets going their parents announce their engagement and so many things are set to change but she knows that it is going to be hard to keep distant. James is fighting his feelings that he's never had before and wants to stay around. you will not regret getting this as it is so down to earth and normal feelings in regular everyday life you can see this happening, it really keeps you interested as the twists of the other characters and new ones really want you to dive in and help them, can't wait for the next one........
book 3,
I was given this for my honest review. Wow the emotions run high through this, as they try to work through Bradley's blackmail and keep their distance from each other it only intensifies. This series is so addictive you just can't wait for the next one to arrive as you have to know what else could possibly happen.
book 4,
wow things are just set against them, they decide to come clean about their love for each other and willow has to decide the best treatment for her dad, the every day running of the ranch and James past comes to haunt them, the wedding to prepare, how can they keep going and what happens next.... you will not be disappointed can't wait for the next one.
book 5,
I was given this for my honest review. This picks up exactly where the previous one left us, James is missing due to going off to think about where the rest of his life belongs after his mum gives them an ultimatum. You can't help but feel for the couple who haven't done anything only fall in love but with the stigma and small minded people their lives could be crushed in the worst way, this story is truly a positive one of family and friends staying together to work through their darkest times. It has been my pleasure to read all of these and totally will miss these characters

I'll be honest here and say I'm not always into the stepbrother books. I think for me it makes a difference how they were raised. I think since they were adults when they United it shouldn't have been as taboo as if they were brought up together in diapers. I guess everyone was their own opinion. I liked Willow. She was so determined and focused. James was so cute and patient once he realized what we wanted. I didn't think they had anything to be ashamed of. I wish they would have come clean before the parents admitted they were dating but I guess I wouldn't have had a story to read. It's weird how the adult children were frowned upon and called the I word but it the tables were turned and they dated/ got married first would the same people have called the their parents anything. People are close minded. It's not like they were raised together or blood related. Looking forward to more books.

Willow has always had a crush on James and her father hired James to help on their ranch. As the story opens, Willow's father falls in love with James' mother. James and Willow have feelings for one another, but try to fight those feelings because their parents are planning on marrying. The societal taboo on their relationship is too much for Willow's career. James is also a player of the worst kind.

I am glad this is a set of the five in the series. The lengthily, drawn out story is difficult to read part by part. There is too much back and forth between Willow and James whether they are willing to risk the public's backlash over their taboo step relationship. A good read of adult relationship and working on communicating one's true feelings.

Not bad but not particularly great either. I got annoyed with the lack of consistency in the characters. Almost every character seems to flip flop in this book. One second a player and the next the first one to say I love you. Arguing that nothing is wrong with the relationship then being super offended that they would dare not think of your career. The mom is a bitch, then she isn't. It lacked flow and I found myself skimming the end.

Cute story

Cute but I had a hard time with Willow calling her father "Daddy" through the entire series an adult daughter would have out grown calling her father daddy at about 6 or 7 years of age. Her calling him daddy made her look very juvenile and made it a distraction in my eyes.

This story was one that was called taboo because both couples started going out at the same time. Patents and children. Because of the parents married first the younger couple (she is 22 and he is 26) are ridiculed by society. It was an interesting story to read, mostly from the daughter's point of view. WILL enjoy reading more by Alice Ward.
